Chase Credit Card Bonus – $1,000 in Groceries!!! 😯💵

by Christie Bisbee on October 7, 2020

If you have any major purchases coming up, here’s one way to get hugely rewarded from Chase! Right now you can earn up to
80,000 bonus points with Chase Sapphire Preferred when you apply for a new card and spend $4,000 in the first 3 months. Normally, that would mean $800 you could use towards your credit card bill or $1,000 towards travel. BUT since many families aren’t traveling, Chase is allowing that higher amount to be redeemed towards select categories, including dining out, home improvement purchases and GROCERIES. That means that 80,000 bonus equal $1,000 in GROCERIES! That’s one heck of a bonus!😯💵

This Chase feature (called Pay Yourself Back) has been extended until 4/30/2021. So you have plenty of time to use it! The card does have a $95 annual fee, so even if you deduct that, you are still looking at a $915 bonus when you apply for the card and spend $4,000 in the first 3 months. Here’s how to get your bonus…

1. Sign Up for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card thru this special link HERE
2. Spend $4,000 on the card during the first 3 months. (Use it to pay for groceries and anything else you routinely purchase)
3. Get your 80,000 Bonus Points (Worth Up to $1,000)
4. Get $1,000 in Statement Credits to offset up to $1,000 in Groceries, Dining Out, Home Improvement Purchases and more.

This is one of the few credit cards I have in my wallet and signed up when the bonus was 60,000 points. I thought that was pretty awesome, but now it’s even better!!! In fact I just redeemed $600 towards free food! Just go HERE to check it out.

You can use the credit to offset any purchases that you make at a grocery store, restaurant or home improvement store. So as long as the vendor falls under one of those categories, you can use the credit there. It doesn’t say big box stores, so I don’t think something like a Walmart would qualify. But anything like a Kroger or Publix or any of those that are just like actual grocery stores would work! For restaurants I’ve been able to use the credit towards fast food places and table service restaurants that we’ve gotten take out from.
