*HOT* FREE Eye Glasses Offer!

by Christie Bisbee on December 28, 2011

Since we are approaching the end of the year you might be thinking about spending that money in your Flexible Spending Account. If you have a few bucks left (since that’s all you’ll need!) here’s a deal for you!

Coastal Contacts is offering FREE eyeglass frames and single vision 1.5 index lenses for first time customers! This is limited to once per household so if you have done this before I do not believe you can get another FREE frame but if you haven’t it’s an awesome deal!

There are quite a few lenses that qualify. I recently grabbed a super cute pair of Esprit eyeglass frames (pictured here), added the thinner lenses with all the different coatings, shipped to my house for a 1/5 of what I would have paid at my eye doctor. I LOVE them and have been telling everyone I know who wears glasses.

My neighbor grabbed himself a pair too, his were $38 total and he got a coupon with his glasses for a FREE pair for a friend too. You’ll need to know your prescription but you won’t be required to fax it in or anything like that. It was super easy.

You can use the money in your FSA account towards the shipping  handling and any upgrades to the lenses.

How To Get This Deal

-Sign up for an account at Costal Contacts HERE
-Select any pair of glasses (make sure they do NOT say “coupons not eligible”)
-Use code FIRSTPAIRFREE at checkout

Not sure how this equals free or cheap… Unless you only need glasses that are -1 to +1 in strength. I put in a pair of glasses that were $68, it charged extra because I needed a stronger prescription and it came to $118.98 using the firstpairfree code. Not so free. Unless I am doing something wrong?

It sounds like you may have selected a pair of frames that you couldn’t use coupons on. The frames should have been $0 and to get a stronger lens shouldn’t be much. I have a strong prescription and with that and all the upgrades I selected (coating, thinner lens, etc.) I paid about $60 shipped and insured. Make sure the lenses do not say you can’t use coupon codes on them.

Thanks for the reply… I picked one of the cheaper frames it didn’t have the “no coupon code” under it. It took off about $98 at the checkout and I didn’t select the extra coating things. The prescription was $100 or more I think. It was for -5 and -6 lenses. I am thinking it is because of the lens strength it came to be so much. Oh well…

It is a $58 discount on the glasses without coupon restrictions. I tried it with different priced frames and it was still $58.00 no matter what. I also have codes I got on No More Rack that were suppose to be free up to $99 but they also are just the $58.00. I got two pairs and I paid just the tax and shipping on them (a little over $10 each) I need a low prescription so it was a great deal for me. Still a great discount…

That’s great Sara! Interestingly enough my frames were $68 but they came out to $0 before the frames. Kinda wacky but a great deal! 🙂
