Just came from Walgreens where I noticed these items and had my coupons so I was so stoked! Except, the coupon beeped and the cashier called the manager and they decided that they can’t take the coupon on that box, only on the full size. Even though it says right on the package ‘any cream of wheat’. Didn’t work for me- what a bummer!
Mynde – I guess you need to bring a dictionary with you next time for the definition of any. LOL. 😉
I went to walgreen last week and got 3 boxes of the cream of wheat it beep but they call the manger and she tried on the lsrge box and it beep also so she said push them through I went back to day with my mom coupons and they beep but the manger this time stood there look at the coupon like I copied it it came form a insert then I told him it happened last week and he told me no he did care what a different manger said or did that he was right and I could pay full price or not he didn’t care so I brought them just so he could not pull them form the self before tommorrow.
No Kidding, I always have the biggest problems at Walgreens most of the time! I hate the beeps 🙂
Why am I not surprised? 8) I’d try a different walgreens anyway, and hope they have the cream of wheat also.
I had trouble yesterday at walgreens twice. First they wouldn’t take 1.5 off arnicare because it beeped (it came inside a box of arnicare i’ve bought before!!) and they said it was because it had a register reward for it and I was getting it free anyway. I said a different store pushed it for me and they said they couldn’t because they had already called the manufacturer about that problem and they said don’t take it (WHAT??). Then as expected the w diapers coupon attached to the wipes took only $1 off and I pointed out it should be $2 and she said they have to take what the computer does and that it probably happened because I also used the infant booklet coupon. We all know that is so not true. It would have happened even if that was scanned first! I bought that anyway (she made sure to point out I was getting a great deal) but should have asked to speak to a manager. So frustrating!!
These are on at Dollar General at 1.00 all the time.
