Woo Hoo! National Consumer Panel is accepting applicants again! If you are accepted into the program they’ll send you a hand held scanner to record your purchases.
I’ve been a member of the National Consumer Panel for several months. I earn points for recording my purchases and transmitting the information once per week. (It’s also fun for kids to help out too!) I even earn points when I’m on vacation and can’t scan! You can also get a ton of points just from doing the on-line surveys. They really help boost your totals and the surveys are super short.
Points are redeemable for all sorts of prizes (Dooney & Bourke purses, Fisher Price Toys, a Nintendo Wii, ipods and more). Plus, every month 15 panel members win $1,000 and every quarter 2 panel members win $20,000! Go HERE to apply. Good Luck! 🙂

What have you redeemed your points for? Does it take a ridiculous amount of time to get anything decent? Thanks!
Christie – I have a question for you. I got my scanner about a month ago and have really been confused on how to deal with RR’s and ECB’s. I always put that I had a coupon for every item that I had a coupon for, but where do you account for the RR’s? I’ve been just leaving them out but still reporting my total as little to nothing. Is this the way you do it?
is it worth the time to do??
also, how do you connect if you don’t have a phone line or don’t want to use a phone line? I didn’t see details in the link.
I don’t have a land line. It connects by ethernet connection through your modem or wireless router. It was super easy to set up.
Hey Elizabeth – I have just been leaving the RR & ECBs out of it too. They just don’t have it set up in a way that you can explain that. So I’ve basically done what you have done too.
Hi Adrienne – I’m saving up for something big so I haven’t redeemed them. I have about 10,000 points and I’ve only transmitted a few times. I find that the quick surveys really have made the difference for me in getting more points. I think I earn more with surveys than with transmitting actually.
