If you have a Publix grocery store in your area you can get some GREAT deals at Walgreens this week including FREE Socks! Look for the Winter Family Savings booklet at your local Publix. It contains various manufacturers coupons in it.
The coupons do have a Publix logo in the corner but they are MQ. My store won’t take coupons that have the word “ONLY” in it like “Good ONLY at” or “Redeem ONLY at”, but they will take those that just have a logo or say something more general like “redeemable at” or “available at”. This will vary from store to store and is ultimately up to the manager. So, if your store will accept them I’ve got 4 GREAT deals for you!

My store would not take them!
When I bought the double pack of Scotch tape with the store coupon it came with five $1 coupons in it. One of those is a packing tape coupon. yeah!
Also, in WG ad they have Scotch mailers 2/$2…in the Publix booklet they have $1/2 Scotch mailers….that would make them only .50 a piece..
Thanks for the socks freebie. Our church always collects socks for various reasons, and these will be great stocking fillers for our shut=ins!
My Walgreens would not honor these. They said even though they are Manufacturers coupons, that only Publix gets reimbursed for them through a special agreement between the Manufacturer and Publix. I am interested if they worked for any one else!

lots of publix stores keep their seasonal Publix coupon books at the customer service counter. make it a habit to stop and ask for any coupon books whenever you shop there.

I have a question regarding the socks. When I looked at them at my store the signs were only on the ones that were $2.49 and up. The sign stated “BOGO $2.49 and up…etc.” So it made me think the $1.99 ones aren’t included. Has anyone done this deal? Also, I just clip the corner off of the Publix q’s and they work fine. I asked the first time if I could use one and my cashier said lets try and if no beeps then yes….and there were no beeps. You know if it wasn’t good that the Wags register would beep away :).

I WENT TO WAGS AND PURCHASED 6 PAIR OF SOCKS W/ THE PUBLIX COUPON. WHEN I WENT IN THE NEXT DAY THE CASHIER TOLD ME SHE ALMOST GOT FIRED CAUSE THE MANAGER TOLD HER THEY ARE PUBLIX COUPONS AND THEY WOULD NOT GET THERE MONEY BACK AND THE MONEY WOULD COME OUT OF HER PAY CHECK! ALL OF US THAT ARE COUPON PRO”S KNOW THIS IS NOT TRUE. THEY ARE MANUF. COUPON W/ USE AT PUBLIX ON THEM BUT WAGS WILL ALSO GET CREDIT. IS THIS TRUE OR AM I WRONG? I THINK THE MANAGER REALLY DOESN’T KNOW TO MUCH ABOUT HOW COUPONS WORK AND HOW COPANIES GET THEIR MONEY BACK!
