Here’s one of the freebies I got in the mail last week thanks to Freeflys. It was a coupon for a FREE sample of Pet food.
When I went to pick this up at the store I was expecting a small bag. Boy was I surprised when I realized the coupon was for a 6.6 lb bag of EVO Pet Food retailing for $21.95! WOW! As you can imagine both Benny (the cat) and I were very happy. ๐

I was so excited about this freebie also. My coupon came in the mail, I took it to the store listed to get my bag and wouldnt it just figure the store does not carry that brand! I am glad you posted this – it reminded me that I need to contact the company and see if I can get a replacement coupon.
Tracy – They seem very nice (and generous!) I’d call them to issue you one for a different store. It’s SOOO worth it!
I too was shocked when I saw how much mine would cost!!! I thought I would maybe have to pay for tax but not even that! The lady at the store just handed it to me and said “you are all set!” This was actually a freebie that I felt wierd to go ask for (since I couldn’t find it myself) but not anymore! Already fed my cats some and they ate fine (they usually eat purina one).
Benny is cute. I noticed the bag says weight management. ๐
Ha – Thanks Denise! My kitties are all getting a little chubby! LOL.
I spoke to EVO because my coupon came with a random store listed, instead of the one that I applied for online. She said it was good at any store that carried the product and if there were any issues at the store to call their customer service number. I would just make sure to have the customer service number with you in case you have issues, as I don’t think it was on the coupon. This food was a very high quality, but now I think I read they were bought by P&G and people don’t know what is going to happen with the quality. When my 17 1/2 old kitty was diagnosed with oral cancer earlier in the year I switched him to holistic everything and he really enjoyed the canned, unfortunately I lost him on June 12th :(, but I’m all for less fillers!
Karen – I’m SO, SO sorry about your kitty. I also have an old kitty that just turned 17 in May, I’ve had her since I was a teenager, so I understand how hard that must have been. I’m glad the EVO people were so helpful. As for the quality I hope it remains the same but you know how those things go. So sorry about about your kitty. {hugs}
I picked up my free bag a few weeks ago for my beagador (beagle/lab) Ruby. I mixed it in with her regular food (Pedigree or Kibbles) and the sample of Nutrish that came the same week. Ruby started chowing down right away. I don’t think I can feasibly feed her the EVO all the time though. I mean, $45 for the same size bag as what I pay $10 for Kibbles or Pedigree? Not budget friendly enough for me. But what a great sample!
BTW-I have always wanted an orange cat like Benny. ๐ Too bad I’m horribly allergic.
Thanks Christie. I had him almost half my life. He died in my arms in June in the middle of the night. ๐ He came up to me, as if to say “I have to go now” :(. I miss him terribly, as I sit here crying. I have dozens of rescue kitties, as people see barns and they think we don’t have any cats, but Butch was my main kitty. It’s so hard as I have so many cats that would love to be indoor kitties and as much as I can’t imagine not having a cat in the house I can’t imagine bringing someone else in so soon. ๐ I combined the EVO with Smart Water, probiotics and his glucosimine he was already on for his joints and hope that I did everything I could to keep him going. He had surgery for the cancer, but they said there were no other treatments at his age that his body could handle. He was still playing the morning that he died and he seemed to go peacefully in my arms. (No vet assistance, thank goodness! I can barely even say that word so I’m glad I wasn’t put in a position of him being in awful pain) Sorry to make such a long post! Thanks so much for your site. I never would have thought about doing the 3 /12 lb bags of Purina with the RR, if it weren’t for your board and was thinking ahead enough to get lots of rainchecks! With the 4.00 BioTru q’s from Walmart and the kitten chow coupons I’ve been able to get the 3 1/2 lb. bags for about 1.00 oop! :0 That’s a lot less expensive than the 14 lb bags at PetSmart!
Karen – God Bless you for everything you do for those cats. I know it can get VERY expensive. You did everything you could for your kitty and he was lucky and blessed to have such a wonderful mommy. I hope one day you’ll get to see your baby again. Ok, crying now. You take your time and you’ll know when it feels right.
Heather – Here’s a little trivia – 99% of Orange cats are boys. ๐
Benny is a handsome fella! I’ve always wanted an orange kitty. I was surprised how much that cat food cost, that was an awesome coupon. My kitties are enjoying eating “the good stuff” for once!
CJ – Thanks! It’s like our cats are eating lobster or something when they are eating that food! LOL.
