Ebates pays you cash back at a TON of online stores including Walgreens, Barnes & Noble, Target, Walmart and others when you start your shopping trip at Ebates. Stores pay Ebates a commission for sending shoppers their way, and Ebates uses the commission to pay you cash back.
The way I figure it you might as well be rewarded for purchases you are going to make anyway and in this economy every little bit helps!

So, is this really as easy as it looks? I signed up today. Added my Paypal account. It looks like the next date is August 15th. So, any money I accrue will automatically be credited to me through Paypal on 8/15? That is totally awesome! Thanks for the heads-up.
You just have to remember to go to Ebates before you start shopping. I added it as a favorites so it would be easier for me to remember!
Hi Christie! I just signed up through you, but do you know how much needed for qualifying purchase? I saw $10 in my account, but they says I need to buy something for that $10 bonus to be confirmed.
Hey Karin – You don’t have to buy something right away. They send a check every 3 months or deposit it into your PayPal account if you choose to do it that way.
We just entered another quarter so anything you earn between now and Sept. 30th will be sent to you on their next payment cycle. You only have to earn $5.01 in order to get your check but that doesn’t include the $10. So if you earn just $5.01 between now and Sept. 30th you’ll get a check for $15.01. When you first start you do have to wait a few months to earn that first payment but then you’ll get a payment every 3 months as long as you’ve earned $5.01.
I’ll let you know when they have specials that pay back a higher percentage to help you get there faster. Like last week it was earning 20% at the gap. So you can hit $5.01 pretty quick with those high cash back amounts!

Got my first check of $35 last week. I am loving Ebates!
Man i just did an order for crocs and forgot to use it. Can you have 2 accounts in a household? I just signed up my husband and know some of these sites are picky about that. Plus he only has $5 in his account not $10. hmmmm
I’ll have to double check as to if you can only have 1 per household. If that’s the case I’m going to use my hubby’s NEW account with $10 in it for sure!
