Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It’s a day for good food, relaxing, enjoying the company of friends and family and of course to give thanks for all the blessings in our lives. 🙂  I have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!

First of all I married the greatest guy in the world. I get to spend the rest of my life with my best friend. He’s thoughtful, funny, kind, considerate, compassionate and just an all around awesome person. I am so grateful to have him in my life!

Then of course there was the biggest surprise of all! After struggling with infertility for over 10 years in my first marriage and being told by top specialists that I would NEVER be able to have a child, out of nowhere – surprise – we’re pregnant!

It was a total shock. When my doctor of 15 years told me I was pregnant – I told her that I was so sorry, but she was wrong. She had to go get the ultrasound machine to prove it to me! LOL. So, this little guy is nothing short of a miracle. I’ve got about 4 to 5 weeks to go, so I’m in the home stretch. I can’t wait to meet our little boy! 🙂

This Thanksgiving I’m reminded of a quote by Joseph Campbell, “We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.” I am so humbled that the life waiting for me turned out to be so much richer and more beautiful that the one I had planned. I feel truly blessed.
