Walgreens Register Rewards & Coupons 2/12

by Christie Bisbee on February 10, 2012

This is a pretty small ad as far as Register Rewards go. We do have FREE LypSyl, very inexpensive Progresso, Glade and Vicks Nature Fusion.

UPDATE: Like I expected tested does not work. Keep Calm & Carry on. ๐Ÿ˜‰ There is a small chance we’ll see an overlap with a national Catalina deal for Cottonelle. In the past we’ve seen that Cottonelle catalina work at Walgreens, however I would notย countย on it. I plan on being there ridiculously early to test it out and report back.

If you are looking for a coupon remember you can always check my coupon database, there you can find the latest coupons and printable coupons available. If you are in need of a coupon you may want to checkout eBay HERE.

Yay, I can’t wait to find out on the Cottonelle deal! Is there any way possible you could post whether it works or not before your ‘Updates from the Field’ post if it isn’t too much trouble (pretty please)? ๐Ÿ˜€

Anyone ever try the LypSyl product? I’m wondering if it would help VERY chapped lips or is it for something totally different? Thanks for everything Christie!

thanks for your input! I checked their site and their products look great. The cold sore stuff will work on chapped lips also I think. I’ll give anything a try!

I have about 12 packs of Cottonelle, but I’m still excited about the possibility of getting more on the cheap end. Crossing my fingers.

Walgreens is trying to move to having it’s most of the add online. So really to see all the deals you are going to have to scan the add or check online. I have not checked yet but that is what our memo said at work. Hope this helps.

Hi Lori – thanks, I have heard this now multiple times as well. I sometimes wonder who are these people that make these decisions…

Honestly, I think that is one of the dumbest decision I have heard in a long time. Who are all these people who want to go on-line or would even think to go on-line to look at the Walgreens ad? Seniors (a huge part of their client base) won’t, most busy professionals won’t, most busy moms won’t. Besides couponers I really don’t know who all these people are that are going to be running to go on-line to see their deals.

You’d think after the huge loss with Express Scripts taking a lot of their clients over to CVS or Rite-Aid, they’d not want to lose more customers, but oh well. This is why they make the big bucks. LOL.

So, will the $10 movie ticket voucher have “Thank you from K-Y” printed on it like the RRs? That will be a fun one to hand to the teenager selling tickets at the theatre! (tee hee)

paige February 11, 2012 at 12:48 am

how does the movie thing work? i wanted to do it but is it for only certain theaters or does it just print out a coupon?

Diane February 11, 2012 at 7:39 am

There is supposed to be a $3 catalina wyb 2 12 pk cottonelle. WAGS has them for 5.00, plus they have 1.00 Q in the Feb coupon book(will take off 2.00 for 2 packs). There are man Q’s out that expire 2-12. Mine are .50/1 12 pk. Would make them 2.00 ea for me. The value of these Q’s are regional; many of you should have higher values, making for a great deal. I think this deal is supposed to start 2-12-12, so combined with the Q’s that expire the same day, you would want to do this transaction this sunday for the best value.

Claudia February 11, 2012 at 3:41 pm

Hi Diane,

Could you use more than one Q of the Feb coupon book in the same transaction?

Reply

Diane February 11, 2012 at 10:01 pm

Claudia-yes, you are allowed to use coupons from the monthly savings book twice in the same transaction. If you purchase 2 of the same item, have the cashier scan the IVC coupon, and the register will automatically take off the coupon value times 2. You will only need the one coupon. Also, I never actually clip these coupons; i just have the cashier scan them right in the book.

I know the TP is the hot item right now but I want to know if there will still be $4 RR wyb the Gillette Fusion razor and refill as I just saw them on clearance in my store today! Do I run right now or can I wait until tomorrow??

Reply

Christie February 12, 2012 at 1:53 am

Yes – the Gillette should continue this week! ๐Ÿ™‚ As well as the extra $3 if you buy cartridges too. If you buy it take a picture for us, I’d love to share!

On another note – I don’t mean to be Ms. Poopy Pants but I REALLY don’t want anyone banking on the Cottonelle. I only mentioned it because of the number of e-mails and comments I was getting about it. If it actually prints I will be surprised (albeit happily surprised). So, please don’t run out and buy it unless you would be happy to get it for $3 (with coupon & in ad coupon) or you wouldn’t be upset if you have to return it.
