Does the banana boat monthly RR include schick products? I saw posted on another site to buy the schick razors from this weeks ad and a banana boat sunscreen, use the $5 coupon off both, and receive the $3 schick RR and the $5 banana boat monthly RR for buying $15 in products. Is this accurate?

Just a heads up for those going to walgreens looking for the pantiliners that are 99cent I was told they have discontinued that item in all stores.

Would you have to buy 2 of the Mr. Clean products to get the 2/$5 price, or can I buy one for $2.50? I would like to get two of the fabric softener and then one of the Mr. Clean products to reach the $10 limit, but won’t if you have to pay more for only getting one item.

You can just get one of the Mr. Clean in order to get the sale price.

awwww the Lysol RR deal two weeks ago was better… they had a $7RR instead.

i work for walgreens, quit exploiting the register rewards. you people make 50 transactions and take all of the items that qualify for register rewards leaving none for other people. stop it

if Walgreens didn’t give RR, their customers would shop at another store that offered similar benefits. Your employer offers RR as an incentive to continue shopping there, so you can collect your paycheck and text from the store how much you dislike your employer’s customers.

No one on this site advocates shelf clearing. Your charge that it does is specious. Please stop it.

I have never taken 50! I have never seen Walgreens have an inventory of more than 5 or 6 of an item, even on the first day of the sale. If you have a problem with people hunting down bargains, please find another job. Be happy you are employed. Some folks are deal seekers because they find themselves unemployed in this awful economy and they are doing their best to stretch their resources without depending on the government to support them!!
Hey, and the best part is that now we can take our RR to Walmart and they will gladly accept them!!! Happy Saving!!

I am going to make this very simple for you, if you don’t like doing your job, find a new one. I’m sure there is some unemployed person more than willing to take your place and love going to work everyday.

Fortunately my womderful Walgreen cashier encourages and even helps me get the best deals so that I can donate the majority of things I get free to those less fortunate. I’m sorry that you feel differently. Perhaps you should find employment elsewhere that doesn’t involve your having to deal with customers since you seem to hold us in contempt.

The P&G brandSaver (2/27) in my area had a $5/1 Venus Pro-skin which makes it $2.99 and you get a $4 RR. I am not sure if everyone received that coupon, but if you did that is a great deal!

Francoise March 6, 2011 at 5:03 pm

Unless I’m mistaken, the $5 coupon is for BOTH a razor AND a pack of cartridges. Bummer, huh?

Reply

Lauren Altizer March 6, 2011 at 7:52 pm

Mine was for just the razor. I live in central Texas so I don’t know if maybe the coupons are different? I know that the denominations can vary. I was happy to get 2 razors for $2.99. I used my Pedicare overage and paid $3.94 for 4 Pediacare Infant drops and 2 Razors, plus I have $8 in RR to use later 🙂

Hi! I tried to send this with email, but when I click your contact button it comes up blank.?? This about an advertised RR that comes up better than the ad says. For Softsoap Hand soap refill-

Ad says:

2/$11 – $5RR = 2/$6

which is a good price on the refill for me, but when I checked out it rings up:

Bottle 1 =$5.50
Bottle 2 =$2.49

Total =$7.49 – $5RR = 2/$2.99

So basically, you get each bottle for $1.50 after RR!! instead of $3 a bottle. These are regular priced $4.49 @ Target and similar at WalMart in my area.

I haven’t read this anywhere, so it could just be something at my store. There were no signs. I only found out at the register. I bought the Softsoap that looks kinda pinkish orange, antibacterial with light moisturizers.
Thanks for all you do!!

I have a question–i bought the 15 in coke products and did not get a register reward like I’ve seen advertised. Is there somebody I can call? When I asked the cashier she told me that since it wasn’t in the weekly ad there was nothing she could do… Help? Anyone?!

Christie March 9, 2011 at 1:35 pm

Tonya – It’s in the March Monthly coupon book, a full page ad for it. I suggest you grab one of those and show it to the manager and bring in your receipt. They can force one to print for you. Good Luck! 🙂

@ Kyle, Walgreens employee. I know that MANY couponers get extra items that are low cost, to donate it! I know I do, as well. Poor people have a right to nice brands of stuff. I am thrilled to donate nice womens and mens items to my local womans shelter. This way the struggling moms have nice things to help them. Also, the poor children (boys and girls) in the shelters have nice things to help build their self esteem. The children soooo deserve their fair share like other lucky children.
