I found a $2.00 and $3.00 coupon at my Walgreens for Neutrogena cosmetics. It will make for a sweet deal if you use these.

I found them by the cosmetics counter 🙂

My Pamper’s coupon from the Everyday Savings was only for $1 off

SUNDAY ONLY????? What the heck???

Reply

Christie February 17, 2011 at 12:27 pm

It’s a monthly deal that ends 2/20 combined with a regular weekly deal. So it’s not in the ad but I’m letting you know that you could grab the deal on Sunday when both overlap. 🙂

Question regarding the Kleenex. My Walgreens never lets me exceed the limit on the coupon. Are you saying that yours will let you use 2 separate “limit 3” coupons in one transaction?

Teresa February 17, 2011 at 4:38 pm

I was wondering how you would be able to use all three MQs since the first two .50/3 would tag themselves to the 6 boxes. Wouldn’t the buy 3 get 1 free coupon require another three boxes?

I understand using the coupons – the buy 3 get 1 coupon is used on the free box not for purchasing the 3 so you can use the (2) $.50/3 on the other 6 boxes but I’m with Scott if the limit is 3 how do you do it all in one transaction? Walgreens puts a limit on their coupon for a reason and I can’t imagine it being ok to exceed that limit. It would have to be a cashier that just wasn’t paying attention. But I haven’t seen the ad so I don’t know if or what the limit is.

I was wondering about the Pampers….if you use the $2.00 coupon from the infant care booklet (walgreens coupon) and the $2.00 P&G booklet coupon wouldn’t that be $4.99 instead of $2.99?

Reply

Gina February 17, 2011 at 9:07 pm

Yes, then you apply the $2 RR, which brings the total to $2.99.

I’ve never once at any wags had a problem exceeding the limit on an in ad coupon. But it probably depends on your store/cashier.

Lisa February 18, 2011 at 9:43 am

@Patsy: you would need to do two transactions for the Kleenex deal. One buying three boxes and one buying four boxes. You would need two of the Wags coupons (grab one from the extra ads in the store).

If you do 2 transactions you will not get the Register reward.

Christie,

Any ideas on the Rephresh coupon? It prints very small and even at the highest quality, I am afraid it won’t scan at Wags.

Thanks!

For JenniferD

I know this is a long explanation, but this is how you can “copy” anything on your computer screen, resize the image and then print.

1. Open a blank page on your Word processor.
2. Go back to the coupon in PDF format.
3. Click the “plus” icon to increase the size.
4. On the top right of your keyboard press “PrtScn” – this will “copy” whatever shows on your computer screen.
5. Go back to your Word processor – click “paste”.

6. Place your cursor on the “coupon” copy.
7. On the toolbar you will see “picture tools” – left click
8. Now you will see options to format the “picture” of your coupon.
9. On the top right toolbar click on “crop”
10. Now you will see little right angled “corners”
11. Click on the corner and drag towards the center of the “coupon” to resize.

12. Once you “resize” to the size you want – print like you would normally print a document.

Whenever I pay for something online, I “print screen – PrtScn” my confirmation page. I then paste to a blank document and then save to my “Receipts” file on my hard drive.
I prefer digital copies – Saves toner and paper

Mercedes, your explanation was great!!

I’m with Grace, thanks Mercedes for the great info and for the idea of saving your receipts to a folder on her hard drive. Printer in is exspensive enough, anything to save is helpful.
