Please let us know if PayPal can or can not be used. I got all the way through until it said credit card. Thank you for posting it though.
I am giving these as gift to my kids’ Sunday school teachers. I thought maybe a combo of small lotion tubes (the free Carmex a while back) and something else small – sort of a winter hand care gift basket. Any other ideas to include besides the lotion and gloves? I feel like a real cheapskate at $1.68 each. LOL
Erin, You could always include some inexpensive chapstick (should be easy to find with the new Nivea lip coupons) or maybe some nailpolish if you want to stick to the hand care idea.
However, I would encourage you to re-think your cheapskate feelings. I use to feel like this too, but if you consider the prices your gift receiver would pay for these items (probably about $5 for your 2 items)it might change the way you feel.
Hi, This is my first time giving gift to teacher for my preschooler. He is my first one so never and first year in a preschool. Since you both are discussing on gifts for teachers, may I ask you what should be the budget for gifiting in school? thanks, Nina
Nina,
I personally limit it to $10, but I think it all depends on your income level, region, school, etc. You’d probably be judged pretty harshly if you only spent $10 on a teacher gift at a private school with high tuition costs. :-O
I figure most of these gifts are often just a waste of money. You’re buying for someone you don’t know very well, so what are the chances they’ll actually LIKE your gift? Even my own family gets me lame gifts and they’ve know me all my life! LOLOL
