If you buy two items (from different companies) and they both have a RR, will both RR’s print in one transaction or does only 1 RR print per tranaction?

Yes, Beatriz. Just make sure both are not P&G, like Gillette and Scope.

If they are from different companies, then both of them should print if you buy them both in the same transaction!

hi? if you buy both P&G items in one transactions let say (1) crest toothpaste and (1) proglide will the RR for each item will print? thanks in advance

Since the amount of the RR for those two items are different, it will probably print both of them for you if you buy them together. However, Christie always says there is a small chance that they both might not print if they are from the same company. Usually if the dollar amount of the RR is different (for example, a $10RR and a $3RR), then they will most likely print them both. Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong!

Hmm, This week I bought multiple Mitchum deodorants at one store and I only received the 1,000 points despite buying 6 of the deodorants. So was I supposed to receive 6, 000 points according to what you have posted at the top of this listing? I wondered about only receiving the 1,000 points but I assumed since I bought them all in one transaction, that was all I was supposed to get. I am in the St. Louis, MO market. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks!

Yes, I bought two Mitchums as well and only got 1,000 points. I was confused. This was my first card transaction.

In Phoenix, the price tag showed 2000 points per Mitchum deodorant, which in essence made them free. In addition, I had several $1.50 off 2 coupons. I purchased two last Tuesday. Spent $3.98 plus tax. Used the $1.50 coupon and got 4000 points. Went the next day to a different store and purchased two more, but only got 2000 points. I’m trying to find out if there is a limit to the number of items per offer, but I couldn’t get any info from either the 1-800 number, on-line assistance, or the general info about the program. It apparently is at Walgreen’s discretion. I went to a third Walgreens on Saturday, the last day of the sale, and purchased Zyrtec and Children’s Tylenol. Got the 10000 points, used my $7 Zyrtec coupon, and my $1 Tylenol coupon, and got 5000 AARP bonus points, too. I also purchased two more Mitchum’s, using my $1.50 off 2 coupon. I took a closer look at my receipt, and I was awarded another 1000 points and 5000 points. The only thing I can think of is they awarded me 2000 for my previous Mitchum purchase and then 4000 for the two I purchased on 9/22. In any event, I think I made out with more points than most others. Not complaining or bragging, but there doesn’t seem to be any consistency.

Jan: I work at Walgreens. You should have received the Balance Rewards for each item. You do not need to purchase them separately. (one of the reasons why they are changing to the BR Card.) Go to the Walgreens website, there should be a number you can call and give them the reference # on your receipt. I believe they can help you and put the correct number of BR on your card. Hope this helps 🙂

This happen to me too, i bought 10 item and it only gave me 1000 point so i have to call the attention of the asst manager, and she manually scanned a correction bar code and give me the 19000.
But when i got to other store the manager didnt know what she supposed do. I just returned the item and walk away. This point system is not a good idea.

Does anyone know if you are paying with BR points, if any amount paid above $5 will be deducted exactly or in $5 increments? i.e. If my total is $8.35 including tax, and I have 10,000 points, will it deduct 8,350 or just 5,000? I usually calculate my out-of-pocket cost within $1 and would like to know what I should expect.

I believe you can only use $5 rather than $8.35. I think it goes by the table on their website, where you can use $5 (5,000 BR), $10 (10,000BR), $20 (18,000 BR), etc.

May, it will let u choose if u want to use 5000 for $5 or 10000 for your entire total

Did anyone notice the herbal essence deal? A lady checking out next to me kept doing transaction after transaction on the herbal essence, so when I was done I went to go look and she literally cleaned the store out. They are on sale 2/$6 get back a $2rr, use a bogo free coupon, pay $3oop and get back a $2rr. So it’s like paying .50 a bottle. If I needed shampoo I would do the deal but I don’t but in my opinion that’s a stock up price.

angie September 23, 2012 at 3:53 pm

it’s a month long deal, i’ve been getting a couple bottles each week, but my coupon is $3 off 2 bottles, so it’s like paying $.50 ea, which is an excellent price for me. I don’t know where the BOGO coupon your mentioning came from…..

i didnt get my 2 RR when i made this purchase… i used my previous RR in purchasing these items:

herbal essence 2/ $6.00
used BOGO $3.00
listerine 1L 1 bottle $3.99
used 1/$1 off coupon $ 2.99
hunts tomato sauce 3/1.00 $1.00
used WG coupon _____________

LESS: $5 RR
———————————————————————-
I PAID $2.94 . BUT THERE’S NO 2$RR FROM HERBAL ESSENCE. 🙁

All inserts are regional so maybe your region didn’t get it. 🙁 But that doesn’t mean it’s not in there for other readers.
