Okay, two questions;
1. Is there a limit on how many times you can do the deals with points? Say, I want to do the gum deal 3 times. Will I only earn the 1000 points on the first one, or would I accumulate 3000?
2. Is it possible to use points on transactions with just register rewards? So that I may pay for transactions by alternating rewards and points? Or do you think that The language in the bAlance points guidelines that says points will not be earned on transactions that points are redeemed includes register rewards?

Caitlin I did the gum all on 1 transaction and got 3000 points for it. I tried it on the 2nd transaction and didnt get any- not sure if its because I repeated or because system was down.
DO NO pay for a POINTS transaction with points- you WILL NOT get more points!! Pay Points with RR’s, and Pay RRs with points! Worked 5 times today like a charm!

I heard that it may take a few days before you get your points and when you get a certain amount of points you have to go online and print the point rewards but I’m not really sure

On the gums u don’t have a limit and u can due it together
Is there a previous post or maybe a link to an explanation of limits on how points are earned? or are there no limits? (I guess my question is similar to Caitlin’s)
The store near my house is shall we say less than coupon friendly and not eager to help when it comes to questions/deals like these! :{

This is all too confusing, and the rules don’t really help as they are confusing and don’t really explain much 🙁
The way I was told, there will be limits on any items that offers Register Rewards because now your card will keep track of it, so on the deals for Sunday for Glade Expressions, Blistex Moisture Melt, Colgate, Dentek floss, you can only get those deals one time now. Too bad. Pretty much like CVS, they will now have a running total of your purchases.
If you want to do it more than once cant you just not show them your card?
I bought the Blistex this morning using my card, got the RR but then needed to void the transaction. On the 2nd transaction for the Blistex I forgot to scan my card and the RR printed again. I told the cashier to keep the 2nd one since I only bought one. Somehow I still got the sale price on the Blistex even though I didnt scan my card. I think I read that the card isnt required to get the sale prices until Sept 30 so maybe thats why.
Yes, that is what I was told by a Walgreens employee. You can get the sale prices withOUT the card until 9/30. After that you have to use your card to get sale prices.
I was able to purchase 3 Blistex in three separate transactions and receive all 3 RR.
i was just wondering why on some sales you say to $1 to $1.25 bonus rewards what makes it fluxuate???

its gonna get a little tricky with the points, i work for walgreens and i know there are no limits yet…..but i do not know whats in the future…,.
I just did the Kleenex deal… no RR. I asked about it and the associate tried to pull it up on the computer. She said she didn’t see anything for Kleenex. Any ideas why?
I was going to do the kleenex deal, but my in-ad coupon said limit 3. Do anyone know if this will still work even if I try to get six? :/
