Hi Christie I just came from my wags store and scored me a really good deal on Huggies slip on. Though the Aug q booklet isn’t out yet they modified the price for me to less than $4 bringing it down to 5.49 plus I had The $2 mfq bringing it further to 3.49 yay!!!

What do the * mean before the descriptions? Are the *Uniball 207 Gel Pens 2 pk $.99 in the ad this week? I don’t see them and the Walgreens I visited today didn’t have these marked as %.99. Thanks for your help.

The asterisks * indicate that they are bonus buys. So that is the advertised price and you can buy it at that price in the store. However, you can only see those special bonus buy pages of the ad on-line, not in the paper ad.

Please don’t let the lack signs in the store discourage you. I frequently am in stores that NEVER put up their signs. And in my area only 1 out of about 6 stores will have all their signs up on Sunday for the new week. So head on up to the register and have them do a price check if there’s no sign.

Thanks for your help Christie. I went to three different Wags yesterday right after 8am. All three were just getting around to putting up signage. Only 1 had the Uniball pens. I will go back now that I know for sure they are on sale. I appreciate all you do. Thanks again!

For the All detergent, does the $10 total have to be before or after coupons?

I bought 3 ALL and used 3-$1 Qs and the RR printed for me. The only other item I purchased in the same transaction was Allegra

I did the Listerine RR deal today and got my Cortaid(mm w/q and MIR). Will submit online so no stamp/envelope cost. My store must have had 30 or more packages of the Cortaid. The shelf was stocked plus had a big display at the cosmetics counter. I got 2 packs of the Uniball gel pens(.24 ea after q). They were pretty well wiped out in the office supply section, but still had several in the back-to-school aisle. Rounded out my trip with a carton of eggs–.99 on sale, which is the cheapest I can hope to find in my area. My store doesn’t carry the Accu-chek Nano(strange), so took my q to wal-mart, where they were 9.72 reg price, so .28 overag. No Bic pens for me; didn’t receive the q in my insert.

Does the Cortaid say . I read that it was trial size and the coupon would not work. Did you have any problems with the coupon and does the product say trial or travel or sample?

The 0.5 oz. package i purchased does not say trial/travel size. It looks exactly like the product pictured on p. 11 of the ad. The coupon I used was a printable and it did not beep. hth.

I see Christie has posted in her “Updates from the Field” that according to the manufacturer, the 0.5 oz Cortaid is indeed considered trial size. That means I probably used my 1.00 coupon improperly. I would never knowingly do this. Apparently I missed a post/update somewhere regarding that particular deal. On the other hand, maybe the manufacturer should have the words “Trial Size” printed on the packaging?

Are you sure your coupons say not valid on trial/travel size? Mine did not say that…

Diane July 31, 2012 at 1:47 am

I’m not sure what my coupon said, to be honest. I used a printable. When i went through my binder tonight to weed out the expired coupons i did come across a 1.00 Cortaid coupon(exp. 7/31). I don’t know which insert it was from, but it does clearly state “excludes trial sizes”.

There were 2 printable Qs for cortaid. I had both of them. One specifically said, “Excludes trial/travel size”. One said “Use on any Cortaid”. So if you print Qs regularly, you probably have both. I printed when Christie first mentioned this deal awhile ago.

Heads up on the Kotex pads!

I purchased 2 U by Kotex overnight pads (14ct) and my $3RR did not print out on either of my transactions. Luckily the manager on duty was nice enough to print it out for me using other U by Kotex items. I did not use any other register rewards with either of the transactions, not sure why it’s not working with overnight pads even though they are ringing up 2/$8 as stated in the ad.

The August Walgreens coupon booklet is out and it does have the $4.00 off the Huggies Little Movers Slip on diapers. It does not specify a size and it did take $4 off each package that I purchased. They were on sale for $9.49 and after the $4 Walgreens coupon and the $2 MF coupon they came to just $3.49 a pack! No problems or issues whatsoever! 🙂

Ask for the Accu-Chek Nano at the pharmacy. Only place they carried at my Walgreen’s.
