The past few weeks all of my coupons, including the new bar codes have been going through just fine at the register. Yesterday and today all of the coupons (Wags RRs, Wags Catalina, MQ, IPs) would not go through. They had to be manually entered. Is anyone else having this problem? Also some lady was holding a sign at a street corner that said ” When will Walgreens be out of the black?” What’s that all about?

my wags changed all the registers and I went today to pick up some last minute deals and it wouldn’t take my advil coupons he wouldn’t manually do it because he said they couldn’t now, I wanted to add something else last minute he said I couldn’t bc it wouldn’t let him! I was sooo frustrated, he had to void it all out and start all over! Stil didn’t use my advil coupons but I plan to go back and try them again later…

It’s the new evil registers I bet – did it have a touch screen? If it is, he’s correct – they have to void and start over – stupidest thing ever! GRRRRRRR

Just wanted to let everyone know that the pure absorb iron supplement thats free after register rewards may not be available. There was a recall on about 10 lots of them and my store has pulled them off the shelf. So when you prepare your shopping trip make sure you factor this in.

Today Pepsi 12 pack products are only 2.00 each because you can use the 3.00 off in walgreens book and the computers have Sundays sale price in. Sale is 4-12 packs for 11.00 less the coupon (3.00) that expires at midnight (1/28) equals 4- 12 packs are 8.00 plus tax.

I ALWAYS have trouble with the registers at Walgreens. Their system never accepts the RR’s and some MQ’s, I think they have gotten used to because now they just manually enter whatever doesn’t scan. Also, I have a silly question… The blink tears coupon says “reedemable at Wal-Mart” but that doesn’t mean that I absolutely HAVE to use it at Wal-Mart since it’s a manufactures coupon, correct?

Yes! Yesterday I stopped at 2 different stores located in another town I had to visit and the cashiers questioned the beeps too. They both said the coupons I was using had worked fine the day before! Maybe a change in their system so cashiers will look at and read all the coupon details.

The dorito deal for tomorrow is already going on and it’s ringing up as 2.50 for 2 there has been tear pads for $1/2 plus the $1/2 wags coupon ! So .50 for 2 bags !! What a deal!!

All my mq’s beeped on Tuesday when I did my Walgreens shopping. That’s never happened before. My Walgreens has great customer service though and they just manually entered the coupons…

Heather- you’re correct, you don’t have to use the blink tears coupon at Wal-mart because it’s a manufacturer coupon…

Happy couponing everyone!

Pre-shopping I spotted Clairol Nice ‘n Easy Foam Hair Color with bonus Venus razor. These are on a rr deal this week paired with a $3.00 q from P&G January insert you could score a really nice deal for $3.99.

Does walgreens take a catalina coupon from another store? I tried to use a 2.00$ coupon from jewel, which is clearly marked manufacturer coupon and they would not take it because it has the jewel Osco logo on it. Any thoughts?

There is a $2 off pure absorb coupon on the inside of the box so if you wanted to get an extra one it’s a $2 mm!

There’s a recall on the Pur-Absorb Iron for $10 that goes with the RR for this week. My Walgreens have substituted their brand Iron 280 count pills for $10 plus the $10 RR, but it’s a limit one per person per visit. I have 6 Wags in my town, but the one closest to my house was the only one not sold out. Just a heads up!

Does anyone have a copy of the Diabetes and you Winter Coupon booklet. I need the Colgate coupon. I can’t find the booklet anywhere! My email is [email protected]. I would really appreciate it!
