I sure wish they would do bogo on the Walgreens diapers instead of bogo 50% off. Oh well, I’ll keep waiting! Thanks for the list.

I know, hopefully they’ll do it again before the end of the year!

I greatly appreciate your use of different color fonts and spacing. It makes your list very pretty and reader friendly. I know that takes extra time. Great job.

Christie October 1, 2011 at 6:18 pm

Thanks Anne! I really try to make it look nice. And I often wonder if the extra time that goes into it is worth it, so that really means a lot to me! 🙂

Kerry October 1, 2011 at 7:17 pm

I second that. There are some sites I don’t even bother to read because everything is in the same size/color font. Thank you indeed! What would we do without “Wild for Wags”? 🙂

Thanks guys – you all are making me blush. 🙂

I completely agree! I follow a lot of sites for various couponing info, but this is the only one I even bother looking at for sales and transactions. You make it really easy to follow (idiot-proof, if you will) and I also like how you bold the end result so we can clearly see what the deal comes down to (provided we have all the coupons). It makes setting up my transactions so much faster! Thank you for all of your hard work.

I agree, Anne! I also like the font selection, it’s easy to read. I’ve seen others that look nice on their own, but are a chore to read in the listing format and therefore I don’t bother. Thanks, Christie!

Also thanks for the heads up on the printable coupons that we can use for upcoming deals. That have helped me save a lot of money!

i am new at this and it is easier but the problem is that our walgreens do not usually put out the items that are money makers and only a couple of the items that come out free. And they don’t restock during the week on those items. I always get ” will get some on the next truck” and the day comes that they tell you then you get “it didn’t come in”. “check back.” it gets old. is there a trick around that? they do not allow preordering either.

The Walgreens stores in my area offer rain checks or comparable item if the sale item is out of stock. A couple of weeks ago, I had the -$3/1 Huggies Slip on diapers coupon, and they were offering a $2 rr also. They had none so I was able to get a pkg of Huggies Pull Ups instead. I didn’t get the RR, since it was specific to those diapers, but the cashier rang up as another $2 discount. Hope this helps!

Same thing at my Walgreens, Meg! It is so frustrating. It took me three weeks to find ONE box of Playtex tampons when they had the deal running last month. And when it comes to toothpaste and toothbrushes? Forget about it!

I moved from Chicagoland to Texas a year ago, Dana, and I sure miss Jewel! I am so excited because I saw Affy Tapples in the Wags ad for today down here in Texas, and I was SURE I was going to miss out on them because they are only sold in Chicagoland. Trying not to get my hopes up until I see them…

I am confused about the candies deal. if it is 2/&5, how can it equal to 1.25 each for the fun size and $1 ea. for the m&m’s? I have the $1.50/3 bags m.c. and the $1/2 m&m’s m.c. AND I have a $1.50/2 m&m’s m.c. but cant wrap my mind about how to do this deal. Could you please, pretty please do a scenario for the candies? Thanks…and I LOVE your blog I use it so often and save $$$ thanks to you!! God Bless!!

Reply

Christie October 2, 2011 at 5:33 pm

Hi Nancy – if you have the $1.50/2 Mars and you stack it with the $1/2 Mars Walgreens coupon – you’d get a combined $2.50 off of (2) bags. Making your total $2.50 for the two bags or $1.25 each. Hope that helps! 🙂

I have six Wags within 10 sq mile radius of me and two of them never have the RR deals or good buys, two others sometimes have them and the remaining two can always be counted on to be fully stocked. I make it a practice to stay loyal to stores that are loyal to me and only shop at the two stores that are stocked & whenever I see the store managers make it a point to thank them for being stocked and part of the RR program. They seem to appreciate it and I know I sure do!!!

Lynelle October 3, 2011 at 3:29 pm

Is the Cottonelle RR really happening this weekend? I’ve seen on other sites that it starts on Fri or Sat, but I have not seen on Wild for Wags (which is my main source for all things Walgreens:)

Reply

Rose October 7, 2011 at 5:17 pm

this started today on the PURPLE package. you buys 2, use the store coupon, your manufacture coupon = pay your total and a $3.00 reg reward prints. I purchased 16 = 8 different transactions

Reply

Christina October 3, 2011 at 5:18 pm

I have a $2.00/2 Nature Valley (6 count or larger) peelie from a previous purchase! This will make for a great deal!! Waiting to see if RR will print though to make this an even better deal 🙂

Chelsi October 5, 2011 at 4:19 pm

I’m confused! With Cottonelle how do I get it to $3?

Reply

dropofrain October 7, 2011 at 9:23 pm

Buy Two 12 pks @$5= $10
If you have 2(two)$1/1 manufacturer coupons, your subtotal would be $8 and if you use $1/1 coupon from Walgreens October booklet, it will deduct another $2. So, you will end up paying $6 total, or $3 ea. But, starting today, you may also get $3 RR on the top of that, making each 12 pk just $1.75
