how do we get the summer beauty guide? when i clicked on the link it brought me to a “oops! can’t find that page” page. I LOVE hawaiian tropic and would love to figure out how to get the $2/1 wags coupon from that summer guide and only pay .99 each!! thanks.

Christie May 28, 2011 at 6:14 pm

Try the link now – it would be found at your store probably in cosmetics. However you can at least see what you are looking for by clicking on the link. 🙂

Hi Christie,
I finally found a store that had the summer beauty book available. So I bought 2 Hawiian Tropic suntan lotions, they were $10.99 and $12.49. I was told I could only use 1-$2/1 MQ because one was already free…OK..and they took off the $2 Walgreens Q……fine…. But then instead of $10.99 taken off my bill they only took off $8.99(for the free one)! That means that the WQ was worthless??!!!? I should have paid $8.49 instead my bill was $10.49! Does this seem right to you?

Is the Wags coupon for $2 off Coke zero still good or has it expired? (the code was 2057 I believe)

Reply

Christie May 28, 2011 at 6:13 pm

Expired 5/21 I believe 🙁

If I buy 2 boxes of Ritz crackerfuls, can I use the $1/2 Wags coupon in the 5/22 SS along 2 additional MQ’s? My confusion is whether the $1/2 coupon in the 5/22 SS is considered a store coupon and can be stacked with MQ or not. Thanks for the help.

Reply

Christie May 28, 2011 at 7:34 pm

The Walgreens coupon in SS is a store coupon.

I found a list of the new June IVC coupons. You’ll see a $5 off Applied Nutrtion Supplements. Could make for a $5 MM on the Applied Nutrition Triple Calcium, which is free after RR.

Reply

Jennifer D May 28, 2011 at 8:57 pm

The listerine is 7.99 at my WAGS 🙁 Every blog I have seen have them somewhere below $6. Oh well 🙁

Reply

Katrina May 28, 2011 at 10:09 pm

In the Walgreens June booklet there is a $5/1 AppliedNutrition coupon that would make the triple calcium a $5 moneymaker 😀

Reply

Katrina May 29, 2011 at 10:18 am

well i just tried to use the $5/1 applied nutrion Q on the calcium and they won’t take it. The manager said it is only for the items pictured 🙁 I still bought it bc my mom takes calcium so it was still a good deal. I also forgot to have the cashier use the in ad coupons, so i missed out on $5 of savings (oh well i still only spent $21 and saved $67) 🙁 This was my first time doing multiple transactions and i am used to the cashiers doing that part for me LOL oh well i will just have to start cutting them out and handing them to them that way i know IM not forgetting!
Thank you for doing all of them matchups i love your site! OH BTW i found a box of the crackerfuls!

Question: Will Walgreens let me us 4 B1G1 coupons if I am only getting 4 items = making them all free? They are not on a B1G1 Walgreens promotion. I have gone over their coupon policy and I am confused. Please help! Thanks!

Reply

margaret May 28, 2011 at 11:39 pm

not sure, depends how the coupon is coded i think. im new so i dont really know for sure

Reply

Christie May 29, 2011 at 12:25 am

If you are getting (4) items but they are not on a B1G1 sale, and you have B1G1 FREE coupons, you would pay for (2) and get (2) FREE.

It’s only when they are on a B1G1 sale that you would be able to get all (4) for FREE.

That will be the same at Walgreens and any other store. Hope that helps! 🙂

Malissa May 29, 2011 at 1:44 am

Thanks Christie! I finally understand it. Yea!

Reply

M May 29, 2011 at 12:40 am

Maybe I’m not understanding your question…How would you use for B1G1 free coupons on four items? If you had 4 items, you would only be able to use 2 of those coupons. You could use another coupon for the item you are paying for though.

Caroline May 28, 2011 at 11:41 pm

Can someone spell out the buy one get one free in store sale and I want to use a buy one get one free MQ coupon? I’ve been avoiding these offers because I don’t get it. How many do I buy and how many do I get free? PLS HELP! Thx.

Reply

Kalie May 29, 2011 at 1:09 am

Caroline when your transaction is rang up it should automatically take the price of one off for B1G1 when you hand over coupons they will take off the price of the body wash ie $4.99, so walgreens was going to give you one free so was the coupon, so you benefit by getting both for free, hope that helps. Walgreens can be confusing but fun, I can’t wait until thursday when the ad comes out!

Reply

Walgreens Employee May 29, 2011 at 10:18 am

WATCH OUT The Right Guard Coupon is only up to 4.49!!!!!! So you will have to pay .50 on 1 of 2 body washes

Reply

Christie May 29, 2011 at 12:54 pm

Some stores have the body wash $4.99, some $4.49 at least in my area. Which is funny because the stores are only 5 minutes apart!

Do you know what zip code to use for the $2/1 off q? I can’t find it…

Reply

Ginger May 29, 2011 at 2:07 am

I just came from Wags after trying the listerine white plus restore deal.. no dice. The sale pricing wasn’t even in the system yet, and no RR printed at all.. The rest of the new ad deals worked fine though and my 24hr wags had Crackerfuls! I love these things… even more when they pay me to eat them!

Reply

Amanda May 31, 2011 at 6:47 am

Its weird, I tried that today with the Listerine Whitening plus Restoring because that’s what the ad said was on sale for 3.99 but it rang up as regular price. It works for the Listerine Whitening Original though (= It must be an error in the ad.

My Ritz Cracker coupon from the 5/15 SS is $1/2. I had plenty of Crackerfuls and they are sold out!

I had a great trip at Walgreen’s this morning except for the fact that my RR for my Degree deodorants did not print. I remember seeing a website to e-mail catalina about this, but I can’t find it anymore. Does anyone have that website. My cashier said that it may have been b/c of an RR that I used on the purchase, but I don’t remember there being one that would not have worked. I thought I planned very carefully. 🙂 Thanks for the help!

************DONATIONS FOR JOPLIN******
IF you are able to, please donate at Walgreens for the Joplin Relief! One store was completely gone and another will take up to 2 months to rebuild. The third store has been turned into a 24 hr store, walgreens is going to use a trailer to make another pharmacy on site. The location that was just damaged is now the central hub for nurses. They are using the supplies from that store like band aids and blood test strips. I know a lot of you have a ton of coupons for a ton of free stuff. We would really appreciate any donations to help our Walgreens families. Many employees have lost their homes. But on a good note, none of our employee were killed!! I’m not sure what every store across the country is doing, but here in Arkansas we have donation bins in the store! Thank you!!

Reply

Meri May 29, 2011 at 7:02 pm

Thanks for the info–I’ll check at my store. I have a donation box at home, so I already have some things I can bring in. =)

What’s the correct order to give a B1G1 coupon and a $ off coupon? For the Head and Shoulders…should I give the B1G1 MC first? I’ve had trouble using the combination at most stores and I wonder if I’ve got the order wrong of if most places just do not understand getting $ off on the one you have to pay for.
Thanks.

My wags won’t let me use a bogo and a $ off Q on the off clip ons. They said if I use a bogo it joins the two items together as one. I looked at their policy and the bogo section seems to be referring to sales only, but maybe I’m reading it wrong. Please HELP!

Reply

Kacie Woodmansee May 29, 2011 at 3:37 pm

Reply

Missy R May 29, 2011 at 4:31 pm

They did that to me yesterday with the Suave lotion deal! I was buying 4 lotions at $3 each. She scanned two $1 off coupons first. Then she scanned the BOGO coupons, saw they took $3 as they should, and decided she didn’t like that so she asked another cashier to help her adjust the BOGO coupons down to $2. I love how suddenly it’s no problem to adjust coupons down and use two MQs on one item, as long as THEY want to do it!

Reply

Missy R May 29, 2011 at 4:34 pm

I’m doing the Head & Shoulders today, so i’m going to give the BOGO coupons FIRST, then the $2 coupon later, maybe after some other coupons in between. At a different Wags!

I found another SuperDeal at my Wags today. 🙂 They have Finesse shampoo and conditioner 2/$7 with a $5RR when you buy 2. So, 2/$2. Not a bad deal, IMO. Plus, the ones at my store at a “Try Me Free” peelie on them. So, a $1.50MM after the MIR. 🙂

Reply

Stephanie W May 29, 2011 at 7:29 pm

Oh, and the Listerine Whitening Rinse printed off both RR. After the cashier was impressed with my deals, ($6.02 OOP, got back $19RR) I had to tell her my secret to finding the great deals…Wildforwags.com!!!!

Listerine Whitening Deal: I was very happy to get BOTH RR to print! I got $1 for this weeks deal AND $2 for the longer running deal through couponnetwork.com!! Yippee! I also did not get my Dove/Degree RR or my Head & Shoulders RR to print (even though I was not using any of their companies RR to pay. I’ll be contacting Catalina…I love Walgreen’s!!

Got 20 (different stores) deodarants free, 2 pocket packs, 2 icy hots (The one I tried the coupon at wouldn’t take it, saying it wasn’t for the naturals **eyeroll** and they didn’t even have them up front where you could see them, they where stacked together and the back of the shelf)

Reply

Fern June 1, 2011 at 10:56 pm

New policy on BOGO, but not on company website….it will only take the price off the second item AFTER coupons. So stacking two coupons on Hawaiian Tropic makes them 5.99 each, so the computer can only take off 5.99 now and not 9.99. Manager has no way to override it!

Reply

Fern June 1, 2011 at 10:58 pm

PS…this is what I used from your site…

$2/1 Hawaiian Tropic Sun Care Product, any 4 oz. + – 05-22-11 RP x6/25
$2/1 Hawaiian Tropic lotion or cream SPF 15+, 4 oz or larger, Summer Beauty Guide

Christie, we were there for over an hour with a clerk, a beauty clerk and then the assist. mang. She then called manager, she was not helpful, but I was not leaving…so the asst. mang. tried 8 different ways, man. coup. first, then Walgreens coup. first, totals, subtotals…she finally had 9 voided transactions she had to fill out, ’cause we finally left when the mang. on the phone told her how to override it and the computer would not let her….I have another Walgreens near me that I am going to try tomorrow, after standing there from 8 to 9pm on a school night {tired teacher} we said we didn’t want them for $3 each. Thanks for the reply, I’m looking forward to seeing what other people run into….

Hello – I just wanted to share my experience with the Listerine deal…even though the ad states Listerine “Whitening Plus Restoring, 16oz,” the Whitening Plus Restoring is NOT ringing $3.99 or giving the $1 RR. However, the Listerine Whitening Original IS ringing $3.99, giving $1 RR advertised in the sale paper AND $2 RR advertised on couponnetwork.com. So since I still had the $1 off listerene whitening products my deal looked like this:

Listerene Whitening Original $3.99
-$1 Listerene whitening printable coupon
=$2.99 get back $2 RR and $1 RR = FREE 🙂
