Walgreens 4 Day Ad Starts 4/20!

by Christie Bisbee on April 19, 2011

We have a 4 Day ad this week, starting on Wednesday April 20th.  This ad has a lot of what is already in the Weekly Ad for 4/17 but I’ve included the additions here.

The best deal is the Aquafresh Kids toothpaste that you’ll be able to grab for FREE after the MQ and the Coupon from the April Coupon Book. Also the monthly deal I wrote about a couple of weeks ago for Chinet is featured in this ad. So you can grab Chinet for just $.50 each!

I’m new to Walgreens. Yesterday, even without any Rapid Rewards, I got 2 free Airwicks, 2 Chinet paper plates, 3 scotch tapes (with 2 coupons–could I have used 3?), and Reynolds foil all for less than 2 bucks (including tax).

You didn’t mention the Reynolds foil deal. There’s a coupon in the Walgreens ad for 88-cents I believe, plus there is a 75-cent printable Reynolds coupon (on their website, I believe).

The coupons on the Reynolds site is for Heavy Duty and non-stick foil. Do you know if they had this kind at your walgreens? I have not gone to check it out yet. Thanks for the tip!

If I do the Aquafresh Toothpaste deal will I need something to absorb the .01 in overage? Or will it work fine if I give the man cpn first and then the wags cpn second and buy nothing but toothpaste?

Christy April 19, 2011 at 2:33 pm

When I have had an overage of $0.01, they made me buy something else because I had to pay tax.

Reply

Christie April 19, 2011 at 2:50 pm

You’d need something to absorb the $.01 or they’d have to adjust.

Can you use all of those Zyrtec coupons or are you just listing the ones available? Can I used the B1G1 Head and Shoulders coupon on the B1 G1 half off sale? Also, where do you get the scotchtape coupon? Sorry lots of questions. I bought the diet coke but no catalina printed :(. Thank you!!!

Christie April 20, 2011 at 2:11 am

You can use one blue coupon (a manufacturer coupon) and a red coupon (store coupon). You can use a B1G1 on a B1G1 1/2 off sale. The Scotch Tape coupons are printable and you can find it HERE.

Hi,

Thanks for this great web site!

Does anybody have a price check on the 70 count Zyrtec? With the $5 Walgreens coupon and the $7 manufacturer’s coupon that might make for a pretty good deal, depending on the original price.

Thanks!

Mary April 20, 2011 at 10:46 am

Never mind. I decided to check the Walgreen’s web site (why didn’t I think of that before??) and the 70 count is listed as 39.99.

Just got back from wags, they said they haven’t heard anything about a 4 day sale, no ads anywhere, the aquafresh toothpaste for kids was 2.49 not 1.99. I still bought 4, anyone have any ideas why no one knows about the 4 day sale.

Mine was the same way. The manager said the store was outside the city limits so their registers didn’t get updated. He was really nice and still gave me the $1.99 price. Was yours outside the city limits? That might be the problem. He said it happens every time they have a special sale.

Are they issuing rain checks if they are out of the item?

Kimberly April 20, 2011 at 1:33 pm

🙁 My Wags had the Aquafresh pump priced at $2.79, so it’s still .79 after coupons.

No 4-day ad found here ;(

dropofrain April 21, 2011 at 12:45 am

same thing- no 4-day ad/sale in our town. Kids Aquafresh was ringing at $3.49!

Mallory April 22, 2011 at 10:42 pm

I was in Wags today, to clarify… The $2.00 coupon is for the Aquafresh Toothpaste KIT. The other coupon in the April Book is for Aquafresh Training Toothpaste and it is $1.00.

Would you add a shortcut to your page- I am always searching for your “Free Wags deals”

Thank you!!

My store has a price tag sticker on the Aquafresh listing the price as $2.99, “-$1 In-store instant coupon” to make it $1.99. I’m always confused by this – is this “In-store Instant Coupon” the same as the WAGS coupon book coupon (which states “Instant *Value* Coupon”)? Or is the paper coupon also taken off as well? I’ve seen the same type of sticker before and always wondered.

It’s probably the April Coupon book that they are advertising. I know, it’s a little confusing. Wish they would just come out and say it’s the monthly coupon book.
