Has anyone had any experience using a manufacture coupon that says Redeem at…..but lists another store? For example, I want to do the Scott Naturals Paper Towel deal and I have a $2.50 off Scott Naturals catalina coupon from a local grocery store but I am not sure if Wags will accept it……. Thank you for your help!
I have this catalina too and was wondering the same thing.
I used about 10 of the 1/1 Windex coupons that say Dollar General at the top (though I don’t think it says “redeem at”) and they didn’t question them at all—and it was a manager who checked me out.
My wags will take IPs or other coupons with “redeem at X store” on it.. but they WON’T take the catalina printed q’s from other stores (even when I had 1 wags catalina and one from meijer and they looked EXACTLY the same with just the name of the store different)… but perhaps it’s a YMMV bc my wags will let you use expired RR while others don’t..

What does w/in ad Q mean?
Christie – Are the WAGS calendar coupons MF or WAGS Q’s? They look like MF, but was not sure. If they are WAGS Q’s you could combine them with the $1/1 MF Qs for the Crayola Wonder. It would then make them free.

I used the Scott regular towels coupon with the Scott Naturals at Wags and and it worked. A manager checked me out and she never lets anything go by without scrutinizing it first. She never blinked nor did the register.
Christie, can you use (3) of the $1/1 scotch magic tape coupons on the B1G2 free as long as you have other items in your transaction to cover the $1.01 coupon overage?

Today I went and my RRs for Colgate and for the DriLiners did NOT print, but the RRs for the Goody Ouchless did. I double checked to make sure I bought the right kind/size and I did. So I submitted an inquiry through the Walgreen’s site. Has anyone ever had good luck with getting a response from them?
My store told me that the only Colgate was The two pictured (Advanced Clean & Gum Defense, and the 4 Goody items in the ad picture. That nothing else was on sale or Would recieve RR’s
Yes, I bought the Advanced clean but no RR. My goody items worked just fine.
I think it’s best to ask at the store immediately after the RR doesn’t print. If it doesn’t print and they don’t know why and can’t get it to print, I return the item and try another store later in the week. (We have a lot of Walgreens around here.)
A friend of mine has had luck returning to the store later in the day when he got home and realized he had no RR, and requesting that the RR be printed. I think they’ve run a return and redone the transaction to get the RR to print. It’s best to do it quickly so they might remember the transaction and don’t think you’re trying to scam them.
My goody’s ouchless hairbands rang up at 3.00 but did not print a reward.
I did the coke zero deal since I still had my $2.00 Wags Q from a couple of months back. After I paid $3 and some cents the cashier called the manager to ask if she needed to keep the q or give it back to me. The manager came and told her that she was not allowed to take those q’s because they do not say Walgreens and they could be from any store. She then proceeded to cancel the transaction and tell me I had to pay $13.00 for all 5 which in her opinion was a good deal. I told her that I had already paid and the cashier was just asking about keeping or not keeping the q. She said I could only use one q; the in-ad q or the one I had but she would only ONLY allowed for it to take $2.00 versus $10.00.
This was my worst trip to a Walgreens not to mention the embarassment and her attitude towards the cashier. I am so upset because I know I did not do anything illegal but yet I can’t help to feel like that due to this manager.
This might be a situation to contact Walgreens HQ and ask them to explain the coupon policy to mgmt. Or try another Walgreens in your area?
I had a really rough day at Walgreens today too with this coupon. I even asked the cashier before we started if I could use both the catalina and in ad Q on 5 cases, and she said yes.
My coke coupon (the catalina from last month) just kept beeping. The cashier tried to fix it by changing the price of just one 12 pack to include the $2 off, then stuffed it in the coupon box before I could say anything.
She had to call the manager and everything to get my coupon back out. While we waited I explained that the old coupon took $2 off every case, so she modified the price of each 12 pack at that point.
Then the in ad Q started beeping because it didn’t like the new price she had set them to. I was about to just decide to pay for it without using the in ad coupon (since they were now in the register as $1.50 per case) when the manager came out and pulled the “we can only give you $2 off one of the cases” line.
I thankfully did get my coupon back, but I ended up just putting all the sodas back. I’m still debating if I should try it again another day with a different cashier or just wait til the price drops without needing to use another coupon.

The Lysol automatic soap dispensers were on clearance for %6.18 at one of my stores. With the $4 RR and the $3 coupon they were a money maker–just something for others to look for. Also, there is another good example of Walgreens advertising coupon stacking in one of the inserts this week (for the Scotts tissue deal).
I have a Wags that is just awful about taking coupons. I tried the magic tape deal, and they said I couldn’t use 2 coupons because it would make it free. DUH! that’s the point, and the coupon policy says I can!! Thankfully they other 2 in town are always wonderful, but it sucks that the one next door is so misinformed.
I’m confused about the pop/soda coupon. It’s a manufacturer’s coupon in the Walgreen’s ad. When I checked out with 5 Cokes, it ended up taking off $13. Since they had rung up at $3.25 each, I ended up with all 5 for $3.25. Was this just a fluke (or a cashier error) at the store I went to, or has it happened to others. (It also took off $13 for the person in front of me.) I shopped at a different store than I usually do.
Definitely a cashier error! The coupon promots the cashier to enter the price. (S)he is supposed to enter the price of ONE 12 pack. Guess you got lucky! (The opposite happened to me… my cashier entered an amount less than the price of a 12 pack)

I see on the Huggies deal you listed the $2 off from the Infant Care book. That is only for the boxes not the jumbo packs right? Or can it be used on the jumbo packs as well?
My Wags would not take the coupon for this deal. They said it was a MQ, plus the coupon says big pack, not jumbo pack.
