by Christie Bisbee on April 9, 2011

-) I don’t include tax in my scenarios because taxes vary dramatically.
-) You don’t have to do these in one day, just pick up where you left off.

Could anyone find these Luster White 7 toothpaste coupons in the 4/3 insert. I looked 3 times and could not find in either SS or PG. Help!

The Luster White Q must have been regional. I do not have it in my inserts either and the printable one was out of prints 🙁

The Luster White is regional.

Is it true that you have to hand over the wag coupon from the “infant care booklet” from now on….they no longer will just scan it or type in the code and let you keep your coupon. My store in Utah told me that last week when I went to do the pampers deal. They said it was a new corporate policy. I’m just wondering if they are telling me stories.

Christie April 10, 2011 at 1:22 am

News to me! None of my stores are doing that.

My wags always take my coupon from the beauty book, baby book and monthly book 🙁 I always have to pick up a new one on the way out 🙁 what’s the difference then? I’m just grabbing another one on the way out why take my coupon so I havE to reorganize? Lol, oh well

Mine took my pampers coupon today too. They said that they keep all wags coupons except for the ones in the ad or booklets.

They have been takin mine from day one so I have just been in the area that has the infant care booklets and grabbing 3-4 each time so I will have plenty to give out to people when I’m in the wags that doesn’t had them available. The pharmacy is so much nicer about the coupon booklets they tell me to take as many as I want.

I wish i would have gotten the biore coupon, but it wasn’t in my inserts that week. But i’ll be doing the pampers in the third transaction, so a little more out of pocket, but to get pampers for $2.50/pkg (which is what i paid for walgreens brand a few weeks ago) I’ll take it.

lisa April 10, 2011 at 2:15 pm

How did you get it for $2.50 each?

Rebecca April 11, 2011 at 9:46 am

This was an error, one of the other blogs i was reading said to use the $3/1 pampers coupon, but when i went to make my list and pulled out the coupon i notice that it is for boxes, not the jumbo pack that is on sale. I should have checked before i posted. Sorry!

Do you have to get all seven of the Snickers eggs? Or are you just getting them because you like them? I looked at the number of coupons and it didn’t seem necessary to complete the transaction. Wouldn’t 2 be enough, or am I missing something? (We like occasional candy but aren’t huge candy eaters here.)

it is so that your coupon wont beep but I think it would go onto overage, it all depends on your Walgreens but to be on the safe side, you are buying all that so that the coupon will go through

On the snickers – in my first transaction i purchased 6 (they had a limit at my Wag’s store), and used 2 coupons, plus I picked up 2 -1 liter Mountain Dew’s .99 each, it beeped on me even though the coupons were for only 4 of them. wiered.

the next 2 transactions I purchased 4 snickers and 1 MT Dew. and only used one coupon, it worked like a charm.

Total out of pocket for 4 Mountain Dews and 14 snickers eggs – $4.02

Does anyone know if the hershey’s RR (the one that says “save $5 off your next hershey’s purchase) will roll? I got one a couple weeks ago and guess I have to use it to buy more hersheys. Was wondering if I buy $10 worth, use the $5 hershey reward and $5 OOP to pay if I would get another $5 hershey reward. Anyone know? TIA

I have some of the Luster coupons if anyone would like to trade for the $1/1 All any laundry detergent from the Red Plum circular (I don’t get Red Plum in my area).

Christie-please forgive me if this is not okay to post about trading coupons; are you okay with these kinds of posts so that we know in the future? 🙂

Thanks!!

Fine by me! I might look into adding a place for everyone to do that. 🙂

I love these scenarios- Today I did 2 transactions. I got the Carefree $0.99 and the Luster White toothpaste $4.99 and used the $1.50 off coupon for the toothpaste (somewhow I didn’t have the Carefree Q). I paid $4.90 with tax and then got a $4 RR and a $1 RR. I used these to pay for the Gatorate that’s free after rebate and all I had to pay was tax on the Gatorade! Yay!

Christina April 10, 2011 at 6:01 pm

That would be so awesome if you could add that capability in the future Christie!! I especially hate throwing away the diaper and formula coupons when I know it could help someone else out (I remember all too well how challenging it was when my lil one was in diapers). What a better way to barter; it would be a win win situation and a huge asset to this site!! Not that it could get any better of course, your site is already awesome as it is! 😀

Deanna April 10, 2011 at 6:18 pm

I stopped today to get the Gatorade and was told they never got it in…. while I’m looking at 20+ crates waiting to be unpacked and stocked on the shelves. I just had to laugh…. oh well. I’ll try another store, maybe they’re more motivated to stock. 🙂

Can u only get one RR per deal or will is print two register rewards if u buy two carefree liners?

Reply

Christie April 10, 2011 at 7:49 pm

Angela – you’d only get one so break it up into 2 transactions!

Reply

Jennifer April 11, 2011 at 2:43 am

Newbie Question….if I buy something that has a RR, can I split my purchases into two and use the RR on the second transaction? I need some stuff that’s on sale this week that has RRs, so I was wanting to purchase the stuff that gives RRs, and then use those towards the stuff that doesn’t offer RR. Just starting out, and trying to get the hang of shopping at Wags using the RR, coupons, and all that lol!

Reply

Christie April 11, 2011 at 7:42 am

yes you sure can! If you look at my scenarios that’s exactly what I set up for you. 🙂
