In the DFW area papers the points booster is 5000 WYS $25. Not sure if that’s just us or other areas too.

Worked great for me yesterday here in a store in Houston, TX. However, this morning I tried this same transaction at another different location store here in Houston and the points booster would not work with the coupons. The manager told me Walgreens changed their computer system to only allow the points booster if total is $30 after coupons. I told her about my transaction from the day before. The manager then told me that all Walgreens stores are updating their systems and every Walgreens will soon be like her store.

Hi Ruth – I would take that with a grain of salt. I’ve been hearing excuses like that one for 5 years from staff when things don’t work the way they are supposed to. I would call customer service – select Walgreens Balance rewards department and ask them to add your points. 🙂
