Walgreens Shopping Scenario 4/20

Here’s my shopping scenario for 4/20. In this scenario you’ll get $16.67 in merchandise, after sales and coupons you’ll pay $5.17 out of pocket and keep $1 (1,000 Balance Reward Points). So it’s like you spent $4.17 for all of these items.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THESE TRANSACTIONS

-) You can’t have more MQ than items! Blue = MQ
-) You don’t have to do these in one day, just pick up where you left off.
-) I always bring some extra fillers with me to the register, in case of an emergency!

Transaction #1
Buy (2) Scope Dual Blast, 2/$6 Sale Price
(2) $1/1 Scope Dual Blast Rinse 750mL or larger (Ets) (68130)
Total = $4, Get Back $3 RR

Transaction #2
Buy (1) Old Spice Shampoo, $4.99 B1G1 50% off
Buy (1) Old Spice Conditioner, $4.99 B1G1 50% off
Buy (1) Morton Salt, 69¢ with in-ad Coupon
In-ad Coupon for 69¢ Morton Salt (1501), p. 3
Total = $8.17
(2) $2/1 Old Spice Shampoo, Conditioner or Styling Product, exp. 4/30/14 (P&G 03/30/14)
$3 RR from Transaction #1
Total = $1.17, Get Back $1 (1,000 Balance Reward Points)

You end up with $1 (1,000 Balance Reward Points) so it’s like you’re paying $4.17 for 2 Scopes, 2 Old Spice products, and 1 Morton Salt!

Transaction #2 is incorrect.
Total for 3 OS and 1 Morton’s is not $8.17.
You are using coupons for 2 OS items & buying 3
MO coffee!!! lol

It’s all fixed – you are buying 2. Math was right – just a typo. 🙂

Vicki,
I think the math on Transaction #2 is correct. She is only purchasing 2 Old Spice products not 3.
