I was told the boost parts was after all qs were applied. your subtotal had to be $25
I guess I lost out on what I got today. I had $30+ and after qs was $14 so they did not give me the points. ggrrrrrr

Sean February 9, 2014 at 10:14 pm

Same here. Is there anything in writing that states it is before MQ but after SQ. The store said they would award the points if I could provide this as they could not find anything to the contrary. My store showed me an email from their regional manager stating it was after both, though I saw nothing referenced for him to form that policy.

Just wanted you to know that I did an online chat with a Walgreens customer service rep and she did verify that it is in fact before manufacturers coupons and after store coupons. Just google “walgreens contact us.” After chatting they should apply the points to your account and you can email the transcript to yourself. This will give you something from Walgreens in writing to bring to your store the next time in case you have issues. Be sure to email it to yourself instead of just printing the transcript as the email print will indicate that it came from Walgreens whereas the printout from the chat session will not.

Silly question if I spend 25 worth axe products will also get the points for winter beauty event?

Reply

campanita February 9, 2014 at 11:44 am

Yes, you will get them. I have been buying axe for my son and every time after I paid. I checked my receipt and the winter beauty points were there.

Jean February 14, 2014 at 12:13 am

Axe deodorant was marked with a Clearance tag for $2.99 so using the $2.00 coupon that is out makes those a better deal than the points deal. I also saw the Right Guard Deodorant with clearance tag for $2.29 each. So I bought two and use my $2.00 of two Right Guard antipersperent coupons.

How do you find out that it is $25 before mfg coupons? The coupon said to go to their website for restrictions and details and there is NOTHING on their website explaining the details. I spent over 15 minutes looking. So frustrating!

DB February 9, 2014 at 12:19 pm

Thank you so much!!!! I spent $21 and got $25 back….the retail value is insane

If I do all 3 transactions, can I use the RR from the 1st to pay for the 2nd? Thanks!

Reply

Christie February 9, 2014 at 4:22 pm

As long as they aren’t from the same products. 🙂

Reply

michelle February 9, 2014 at 9:02 pm

in looking at your scenerios Christie, it looks like you get the boost points after mfg coupons. I went today and they told me it was after all coupons had been applied.
Can you verify this?

Reply

Christie February 10, 2014 at 7:46 am

No it’s after Walgreens coupons but BEFORE manufacturer’s coupons. Maybe you can convince them just to try it your way. They’ll expect it not to work and will probably be surprised when it does. 🙂

Reply

Jennifer February 9, 2014 at 10:37 pm

I got my 5k points before manufactures coupons. Did two transactions with no problems.

Can I pay with RR for transaction #1

Reply

Rian February 10, 2014 at 3:48 pm

I did the deal yesterday and did not get the 5000 pts, I think the culprit was the “wags register rewards” that I used and NOT the manufacturer q’s that prevented me from getting the points.

Reply

melissa February 11, 2014 at 5:50 am

RR are man coupons, id call cs prob was prob the booster coup

Reply

Margaret February 11, 2014 at 9:59 pm

The Hefty bags aren’t advertised in my local ad, is this sale regional? Also I bought 2 softsoap body washes today on clearance for 2.79 and they didn’t produce the RR, should I go back and ask about that?

Jean February 14, 2014 at 12:09 am

Just to give everyone a heads up…on Sunday the 5000 points was not being rewarded as there was a corporate glitch. Walgreens corporate actually had to send the store I visit and different “white paper” 5000 bonus coupon that worked. Also, I noticed that the some of the Register Rewards weren’t printing correct, and the Colgate did double print a $4.00 and $1.50 as Christy wrote ealier. So check your receipts, especially if you shopped on Sunday to see if you got the points bonus. . It might not have been the coupon policy but this corporate problem. I really hope that Walgreens can be sure that their coupons work…it is so much a part of their marketing, and getting it wrong, when consumers spend so much time putting together the layers of coupons and hitting dollar targets, is very stressful at the check-out and so much time. They actually worked it out so in one case they gave me points instead of rewards cuz they could do that….When the 5000 points didn’t ring right, they gave me a refund I believe. What a nightmare to check out that day.
