How are you getting an RR back in transaction #3 if you are using the same product RR from the previous transaction? Using an Azo RR to pay for an Azo again? I see they are different amounts but I thought they don’t roll if they are from the same company.

Joe, as long as they are different amounts or different manufacturers, they’ll work.

What prevents another RR from printing is if the code is the exactly the same ad the RR you are supposed to be getting. Because the $ amounts are different – the codes on the RR are different. They have to be or they’d both take off the same amount off your order. So it will work. 🙂

For example P&G RR. You can use a $3 P&G RR to pay for something where you’d get a $10 P&G RR. You would only have a problem using a $3 P&G RR when you are expecting another $3 P&G RR.

If you have not been doing this – give it a shot. 🙂

In transaction #3, how can you redeem $2 when they require at least $5 (5,000 points) to redeem rewards?

Reply

Christie February 2, 2014 at 11:11 am

You no longer have to hit $5 to redeem.

I am sorry but I coupon all the time and sam is wrong, joe is right you will not get the rr from the second azo if you use an azo rr to buy it. it is the same company and it doesn’t matter if the amount is different.

Chad February 2, 2014 at 10:56 am

It will work, and has worked. As long as the amounts are different.
It is a completly different offer/item.

Chad and Sam are both correct. If can be the same manufacturer as long as the amounts are different. The problem is when it’s the same manufacturer AND the same amount.

Every RR is coded like a coupon – so part of that code is for the manufacturer and part of the code is for the amount. So – if ANY part of that code is different – it does not look like the same RR. In this case the amount is different so it does NOT look like the same register rewards.

I do this all the time and have been doing it for years. 🙂

Has anyone tried it. I think its better if you’ve already tried the transaction rather than just saying whose right or wrong

What was the amount of the RR and how many did you buy? Appreciate you letting us all know I need to stock up on these.

soo, has anyone seen the new updated walgreens app? you can now clip coupons on the app but, my question is are they stackable along with other offers? because they say MQ. so, im assuming that they are like IPs except virtual, so probably not stackable with another MQ?

There is also a $3 rebate on the crest mouthwash at their web site.

hello,

I was wondering if I can do transaction #1 and #2 and use the $8 RR from transaction #2 for the viva paper towels deal? Would I still be able to get the $3 RR from Viva?

transaction #1
Buy (1) Culturelle Probiotic Digestive Health, 24 or 30 ct, $10 Sale Price
Total = $10, Get Back $10 RR

Transaction #2
Buy (1) AZO Cranberry Urinary tract Infection Test, 3 pk, $8 Sale Price
Buy (1) Ecotrin Low Strength Pain Relief, 45 ct, $3 Sale Price
Total = $11
(1) $1/1 Ecotrin Product, exp. 3/31/14 (SS 02/02/14)
$10 RR from Transaction #1
Total = 0, Get Back $8 RR, $2 (2,000 Balance Reward Points)

Yes you could use the RR towards the Viva and still get the RR. Just make sure your total is over the value of the RR and you have a filler if you are using manufacturer’s coupons on the Viva. 🙂
