Walgreens Shopping Scenario 10/27

by Christie- on October 26, 2013

lightbulb2Here’s my Walgreens Shopping Scenario for the week of 10/27. In this scenario you’ll get $18.45 in merchandise, after sales and coupons you’ll pay $4.70 out of pocket and end up with $2.50 RR & 50¢ RR. That’s like getting everything for just $1.70!

You can do Transactions #2 & #3 as I’ve written them only thru 10/31 because the $1.50 Crest rinse coupon expires on 10/31 & the Mars RR offer is only good thru 10/31.

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THESE TRANSACTIONS

-) You can’t have more MQ than items! Blue = MQ
-) You don’t have to do these in one day, just pick up where you left off.
-) I always bring some extra fillers with me to the register, in case of an emergency!

Buy (1) Tums Chewy Delights, 32 ct, $4.50 Sale Price
(1) $1/1 Tums Chewy Delights, exp. 12/1/13 (RP 10/13/13) or HERE

I bought the candy this morning and (at least with Mars brand candies) it printed up 1 RR per bag purchased. I bought 2 bags per transaction and got 2 RR in each.

Can someone help me? I thought register rewards would not print if you used register rewards in the transaction. Is that no longer true? Can I purchase items using register rewards from say the crest pro health and use it to purchase the mars candy in another transaction and It will still print the mars candy register rewards? It didn’t use to work like that, did it?

Yes, you may use a register reward to purchase other items that will generate it’s register reward. It’s when you use a register reward to purchase the exact item that generated the register reward, that you will not get the next register reward. This is how it has always been. I call it flipping RR when I use one to purchase something else.
