Walgreens Shopping Scenario 7/28

by Christie Bisbee on July 27, 2013

Here’s my Walgreens Shopping Scenario for the week of 7/28. In this scenario you’ll get $20.34 in merchandise, you’ll pay $6.34 out of pocket and end up with $1.50 in Register Rewards and $3 in points. That’s like getting everything for $1.84 or about 91% off!

PLUS there’s a mail in rebate in the Accu-Check to get it for FREE. If they use the price prior to coupons you’ll get $7.99 back and if they use the post coupon price you’d get $2.99 back. Either way this scenario is a money maker if you do the rebate. 😉

IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT THESE TRANSACTIONS
-) You can’t have more MQ than items! Blue = MQ
-) You don’t have to do these in one day, just pick up where you left off.
-) I always bring some extra fillers with me to the register, in case of an emergency!

Don’t forget that you also get a Mail in rebate for the Accu-check in the box to get the 7.99 back, I haven’t done it yet so it may be only the 2.99 back, but that is still a pretty big moneymaker.

Be careful if you are doing the Accu Check Nano, I paid with RRs and bought a large amount of items on a discount day 15% off so expected that price but only got a check for $1.84 because that was my actual OOP after using about $20 in RRs to bring down my OOP. So YMMV I was not happy.

Christie.. The 5/20 coupon does it affect getting RR? For example: the lean pocket/pizza deal…it will be 20 before all coupons, can I use the 5/20 coupon then the MQs and still get the 5 RR? Thanks..

I wish my Walgreen’s would keep their shelves stocked, the sales start on Sunday and they are out all week, they get a few items in on their truck on Thursdays but never enough for people to get what they need, that’s why I haven’t shopped there for a while it’s depressing and frustrating!
