Patricia – depending on how the herbal essence $3/2 is coded it might attach to both products and then you would need a filler to use the $3 RR in your 3rd transaction. Let us know if everything works! Also, if anyone happens to find out if the Biore BOGO coupon attaches to both items or just one please post that too! I don’t know how it is coded this time but last time the Biore attached to one. I was able to use an additional 1/1 coupon printed from their rewards program with the BOGO. I am going to try that again today if my extra coupons haven’t expired.
I was able to do the Biore with no filler! The cashier actually told me about that deal.
Also, I would beware of rolling those RRs. They’re all P&G so it may not spit out another one.
herbal essence coupon from where and when please?
Anyone else having the problem on printing the coupon from pure protein? I click on the link they gave me in the email and it says it’s no longer available…huh????
Bought Chex mix, Herbal Essence, Alteril, Scope mouthwash, bottle of Purex and Biore and every thing rang up for the right price and Register Rewards all printed. Great morning at Walgreens.
I just got back from Walgreens and the Biore BOGO and the $1.50 off one coupon worked for me. The only problem I had this morning was that the $1 RR for the Gardettos did not print out for me…it did print out for the Chex Mix though. Cashier realized I should have got the $1 RR and worked her magic to get me one.
Same happened to me with the bugles. They rang chex on the other register to get it to print.
My husband just called from Walgreens after buying three Bugles that were on sale with three coupons. The cashier told him that a RR will not print out anymore if you use allot of coupons in a transaction. Have you ever heard of this?
I encountered this once at 1 walgreen’s (1 I will never shop at again lol). All of the other Walgreens that I shop at it doesn’t matter if you use alot of coupons.
I bought 3 chex mixes today. I used 2 50 cents off coupons & a previous $2 RR. My balance was $0, but the $1 RR still printed.
That is not true. I bought 2 Gardettos and one chex mix and the RR did not print. I showed the cashier the ad, she then rang up 3 chex mix, the RR printed and she gave me the RR. For some reason the RR is not printing for the Gardettos and Bugles. Hope they get the issue fixed soon.

That is just an excuse they give. I am always nice but I say, Let’s ring up 3 of them and don’t use coupons and see if the RR will print then. It never does. Then they fix it or give me a form to mail into the catalina place.
Thanks for info! I called corporate customer service and they couldn’t figure out why it wouldn’t work using manufacturer coupons and why the manager didn’t fix it. They are going to look into it more and call me back. Usually I have great luck at this Walgreen’s, but they had a manager on duty we’ve never dealt with before….
I bought 2 chex mix, 1 bugel, and 2 post cereals. I used (2) 60cent and (1) 50 cent coupon for chex mix and bugels and (1) $1.00 off 2 post cereals with no problems and my RR printed thank goodness! Oh, and my chex mix was the 10 oz bag with 20 percent more free instead of the 8.75 oz bags.
I was wondering the same about rolling the scope and the herbal essence…since they are both p&g products..
I bought the Crest mouthwash, got my RR and rolled it into herbal essence and got my RR, no problem. My problem was with the bugles. Apparently, only the Chex will print RR, so the ad is deceiving.
Just left wags, the Biore RR only printed in my first transaction (I had 2) and the manager had to come up and ring up the Biore again so I could get my second $5 RR. He then told me Walgreens is going to start tracking RR by phone number so that you can only get one deal blah blah blah. In any case, I got my Biore products for .49 each and I couldn’t be happier!! 😉

My manager had to do 2 of the strips since it didn`t want to print my RR (and there were signs under the products -__- ), you`re lucky yours printed !!! and that stinks ! im not looking forward to the new system although some of the employees have told me they kinda like it.
Biore rr would not print for me because they were buy 8 get 2 free on the strips and 25% more free ones the upc’s were not the same as the norml size the mang. Found 2 not 25% more free and it printed he said it will be a long week 🙁

Check the Biore cleaners, many of the ones at my store in the back had 1.00/1 Peelies on them I assume they just added the newer ones to the front pushing them to the back, but it makes this deal completely free!

Biore cleansers with the $1 off peelie… I was told we can’t use it in conjunction with the buy strips get cleanser free since the cleanser is already free.
I am thinking that the peelie is possibly $1 off any Birore product.

Smooth transactions in Arlington Texas this morning. The last time I was in I had issues with my rrs printing, but I also have an awesome cashier that is very friendly and helped fix it!
The Biore did not print any RR in SW Houston TX, cashier said my total had to be $20 or more to generate the $5 RR. Anyone able to score this deal in another part of Houston, please let me know. Thanks. However, I was able to score 6 Mentos Gum 15pk, the Red Fruit-Lime flavor (clearanced for $1.09 each) for $1.50 using the $1/2 Mentos (took of $3) in the September WAG coupon book and 2 manufacturer’s coupons for $1/3 Mentos 15 pk. Scope RR, Mitchum RR and Alteril RR printed with no problems.
I live about an hour west of Houston and the Biore worked beautifully.

I had an awesome day at Walgreens today. I did the Biore deal & used the BOGO and the $1.50 coupon. The $5.00 RR printed and I then used it on the 2nd transaction. The $5.00 RR kept rolling so I did this same transaction 6 timex :).

Learned something new today. Picked up a bonus Biore and that transaction didn’t print RR. Mgr said bonus items are usually not included in RR deals. Made a note of that. She also told me some markets will be seeing the loyalty program rolling out next few weeks!
Sunday nightmare at Wagreen’s this morning…..Clerk said I could only use 1 $.50 coupon while I was purchasing 3 CHEX MIX, so she handed me back the other 2…..I knew then it was going to be TROUBLE with this transaction. She proceeded even with me showing her the AD in their store, don’t know whether she was new or what (hadn’t seen her bfore) but I ended up having to buy a (filler) paid her with (3) $1.00 RR from previous weeks purchase….plus 9 cents. (But my question is this….was she right? Can you only use 1 coupon on this deal? I had a coupon for each bag that I bought. Then she had to call the Asst Mgr cause my RR for $1.00 didn’t print. He was just no help at all basically….he ended up giving me $1.00 back from the cash register, & I left really discouraged with WALGEENS AGAIN!
I used two coupons on my three bags this morning without an issue. She was maybe misreading the coupon and thinking that one per item meant one per transaction. For some reason the RR aren’t always printing for this deal. Mine didn’t print and they rang it up with another variety on a different register to get it to print.

The Altril didnt print at my store but the manager knows me, and he just put money on a card and gave it to me. no hassle!
Had a pretty good shopping trip. Got 2 Scope, 2 Glade Expressions, 3 Bags of Chex, 4 packs of Up2U gum. Paid 2.65 (I had coupons for everything and used $2 RR from last week). Got back $3 RR for the scope, $1 for the Glade and $1 for the Chex. The Chex didn’t print out, so the manager rang them up separately to get it to print. I also have a Try me free hangtag for $3 back on Glade. So after all, I made $5.50
My deal on scope was different. It was buy for $3.99 get $3 rr back…and I used $1.50 MQ. Money maker for me in WI.

I did the same deal. My coupon was from a previous purchase of the Scope Whitening Mouthwash. It was attached to the bottle.

I did the EOS shave cream deal–there were 1.00 peelies for BIC Soleil razors on the bottles. Also bought Mitchum deo, Scope, Crest rinse, and Chex mix. The traditional flavor was already cleared off the shelves at 8:20, so I got the “bold ” flavor. I figure for just pennies, it is worth it to try a new flavor. No UP2U gum left, so used the Bumblebee chicken for my fillers.
I found it amazing the price difference with the walgreens i go to and the one 20mins away by my moms house. I went to the one by my moms house yesterday (while she watched the kids) their chex were 2/4 with no RR…..scope was $5.49each no RR….playtex tampons $8.49each….etc….the only thing on my list to buy was the herbal essance matched up….I will never go to that one again I’ll stick with my the cashiers are alot nicer and they most of the time have everything in stock…The guy manager is pain in the butt but he did smile today (1st time in a year i ever saw him smile) I was just amazed at the price difference and thought i would post about it 🙂
Hey Jenna, did you check the prices at the front registers? I know a lot of times with my store, they don’t have any signs up for sale prices until Monday or Tuesday, so it’s hard to know which products are on sale sometimes. Usually when I take up the items I want to buy to the registers and have them price check, they always ring up correctly there. Sometimes the cashiers/manager just haven’t gotten a chance to put up the signs for the sales. Hopefully that helps you!
Just a thought… Could be that they didn’t have the sale tags up. That is EXTREMELY common in my store. Just make sure you have the printed ad when you ring up. Generally, items ring up correctly but I always watch, just in case… And I mention it to the cashier so she will watch as well. If it doesn’t ring up like you think it will, just tell them you don’t want it.

I am usually extremely disappointed with my trips to Walgreen, I have read & reread the coupon policy, I try to stick with the couponing rules but my RR never print, I can’t use this coupon or the items I want are out of stock!

Today I was very sucessful at Walgreen, able to deal with a well informed manager AFTER one of my transactions was handled incorrectly & got DOUBLE the RR for my trouble. Here is what I got:

This morning the RR’s for scope did not print out for me. The cashier said it was because I used coupons and my total was under $6 which I knew it was totally not true. I had used a $4 RR from Proglide razor last week and 2-$1.5 scope Qs so since the values are different (the one given out was $3) I didn’t think that this would be a problem just because they are both P&G items. The manager came over and rang them without coupons and it produced the RRs. He said it could be because they are both P&G products and gave me the RRs (“this time only since I know you will have to spend it here anyway”) but I still can’t figure out what hapenned. I also bought 3 chex mix and a filler in the same transaction. Chex RR printed fine.
Guess I got my answer. The cashier only scanned one scope, that’s why RR didn’t print! I almost feel like calling the store to make it clear I knew I was supposed to get it but don’t want to get her in trouble for that mistake. Oh if we all had just looked at the receipt while at the register it would have been easy to have figured it out! Also only one coupon was scanned and obviously since one item was scanned it was 3.99, not $3. Not feeling too bad after all, not like I bought one with 2 Qs as the second q did not get scanned. I usually pay attention closely to the totals but since I got the wrong brand of chicken broth as a filler as my son was acting up I was thrown off and was just trying to get ou of there.
Did anyone hear that the buy 5 get 3RRs is over for the chex mix?
That deal should be good through 9/30 although the current sale price of $1 each for 3+ bags won’t last that long.
It worked for me earlier today.
The $0.30/1 Carmex lip balm coupon was not a match for the $0.99 sale Carmex at my two Walgreens stores. The coupon is for a newer, fancier lip balm that was on sale for $2/3.

If you buy 5 chex mix you get a $3 RR instead of a $1RR on 3 or $2RR on 4.
