I was wondering if these scenarios work by doing these transactions all in the same day? Do they let you use the register rewards right away? I thought you had to wait until the next week or something??

Shelley – You can use the RR right away. I try to not do more than 2 transactions back to back, especially if it’s busy. You can always do one another day or just pay for one up front and another in cosmetics to not hold up a register.

Jan – Thanks! 🙂

I like the way you write up your scenarios!

I’m confused about the items part. If I buy two of the exact same shampoo, is it considered one item or two?

Also is there anyway I can show the cashier something regarding the difference between one coupon per purchase vs one coupon per transaction?

Thanks!

The Vicks sinex deal worked for me this morning! What a great money maker! It wasn’t marked on the shelf but when she rang me up I got my 10rr and each Sinex box was only $5. The Thermacare coupon I printed would not scan and when she typed in the barcode it didn’t take either. I was lucky because the manager told her to push it through. Just a warning there might be an issue with that q!

Can we see a picture of the Sinex capsules? Want to make sure I buy the right one. Thanks

I mean will the NightTime Liquicaps work? Or just the DayTime?

Mose – Use my search bar, look for Sinex and you should find a picture of what it looks like from a past post.

The Thermacare q scanned fine for me Kelly. I have never had a problem w/ that one at any store.

This is my first post. I just started with the Walgreens deals and coupons since Thanksgiving. Wow, this is so much fun. I have saved so much money, thanks to you guys. I love this website and I enjoy reading everyone’s comments.

I went to Walgreens this morning and both the Sinex Daytime and Nighttime Sinus 20 count liquicaps were on sale for $5.00.

I did not have a problem with the $1 printable ThermaCare coupon.

I did three transactions and with my coupons and register rewards only spent $3 and took home $37.50 in RR. The total of my receipts indicates that I saved about $116.00 with all wags, manf. coupons and RRs.

Since the Live Well coupons are IVCs can someone who has the sheet put them in Googledocs or somewhere we could print a sheet? Unless of course they say cannot be copied, but generally IVCs are unlimited. TIA

I purchased the tom’s toothpaste and the rr did not print. Cashier said nothing she can do if it doesn’t print 🙁

Anyone else have a Walgreens that gives them a lot of problems/inconsistency using coupons? I used the Thermacare coupon, no problem. My husband went to use it with a different cashier and they said no way, b/c it did not have a special bar code up under the expiration date.
This is very annoying b/c this means they deny my use of Smart Source printables for this reason (Smart Source printables don’t have the extra barcode up at the top.) I’ve had them call over the on-duty manager a few times and the manager agrees with the cashier.
Should I write a letter to corporate, along with an example of the Smart Source coupons I’ve been denied? This policy makes Walgreens my last choice of drugstores….I will always go to RiteAid or CVS if possible.

Christie, I went this morning and bought 4 dayquil liq ($5 each) and 4 nyquil ($5) and used my $1.50 coupons on all eight. I only got 1 $10 RR back. Shouldn’t I have gotten 2? She had some people behind me and she was the only cashier so I didn’t want to hold up the line!
According to the reg receipt I saved a total of $44.98!!!

Hi Nancy – They’ll only let you get 1 RR per deal, per transaction. So if you buy (8) you’ll only get (1) $10 RR. So you would have had to do it it 2 transactions. But it still sounds like you saved a ton! 🙂

When my RRs didn’t print one time so I got the manager and she gave me a Walgreens Gift Card for the amount of the RRs I should have received. 🙂
