The coupon specifies the Gold bar will be free when you buy another Hershey’s bar. I made sure to hand over my gold bar first and it scanned at $1.19, but as soon as the second Almond bar was scanned, the Gold bar price changed to $1 then the second bar was 50¢. The B1G1 coupon scanned at $1 off, but DO keep in mind that it’s possible your cashier will want to change the value if the coupon is not read carefully.

The Hershey’s candy cane bars are in the Christmas isle and on clearance at 70% off. They ring up at 35 cents so I bought 4 of them and 4 Hershey’s gold bars, used the buy 1 get 1 free coupons so paid only $1.40 for 8 candy bars.
