saline soothers deal

I spotted this new product at Walgreens, Saline Soothers. This is a three pack of 20ct soothing nose wipes (for when your nose is irritated). The bundle has a total of 60 wipes, and it’s on sale for $4.99. Plus, there’s a Checkout 51 offer for this product to earn $2 when you buy one, and this Saline Soothers coupon you can print. The limit on the Checkout is 5. Plus these are a  part of the balance rewards points deal to earn $5 (5,000 Balance Reward Points) when you spend $25 on select cold & flu medicines.

I’m unsure how it worked, but the second deal above, with the neo-synephrine and the Triaminic, I hurried through Wags tonight to purchase and enter the Checkout 51 receipt before midnight. The cashier at the counter had a “register reward”-type coupon for 10Xeveryday points that she entered for me along with the ad’s 5X one (though she said probably only one would work). My total was $19.55 before tax (theNeo-syn was $6.29, more then Christi’s $5.99 deal), and I thought-still a good deal after $9.00 checkout51 offer-when I looked at the points total, it was 290(as I expected) everyday points and 10,220 bonus!!-a total of 10,510, or another $10.50 in value, leaving only 5cents before tax! I checked my Walgreens clip-to-card, and there’s a 5X everyday coupon that I’d added, and I thought it was just a copy of the weekly ad’s coupon, but it wasn’t-it expires Jan.21st BUT began on Jan. 12th (people might want to check and see if they have this extra “thank you” clip-to-card). Best as I can tell, I rec’d those 5X points, the 5X points from the ad, AND the 10X points from the cashier’s coupon! If the deal rolls over tomorrow on Checkout 51, I will go buy them again tomorrow night at the same register, because that thoughtful cashier’s 10X coupon doesn’t expire ’til the 24th.
