HELP!! I have been couponing at a local 24 hr Walgreens for over 6 years and know the coupon policy very well. I stopped after 12am after getting off at work (as I often do) and was treated so horribly. I have done diaper deals many times and did the exact deal you listed above earning the extra 5,000 with my clipped coupon and $5 register rewards. My register reward never printed. Cashier called the manager over and he stated that I needed to spend greater than $25 not $21 after manufacture coupons. I explained the $25 was BEFORE manufacture coupons and he was adamant and rude and stated I was calling him stupid for not knowing the policy when he in fact did know the policy, per him. Do you know where I can find a printed version stating this so I don’t have to feel humiliated again? After much fuss did end up giving me an extra 5,000 balance rewards but would have preferred the rr.
Honestly, I wouldn’t bother trying to deal with him directly. When someone is adamant and rude – it’s like talking to a wall, so I generally don’t waste my time. I’d call corporate and let them educate him. One – on the coupon policy and two – on customer service! And if you have a different Walgreens in your area, shop there.
