I tried this last night in Utah and it DID NOT WORK. The manager told me the system would not take the $4 coupon for the twin pack. It also didn’t accept the $2 off coupon. Where are people actually getting this to work???

If you had a problem with the coupon beeping they should have just put it through for you. Just because something beeps doesn’t mean it’s not intended to be used on the item or the deal doesn’t “work”. Some coupons just are beepers because they aren’t coded correctly. The wording on the coupon is what determines whether something should be used.

Can I use a $4 MQ and $3 MQ along with the Walgreens coupon?

Hi Janet – if you have a $3 that applies then yes. You can use (1) MQ and any applicable Walgreens coupons per item. The Wags q may adjust since there’s no overage at Wags.

Your comment wasn’t deleted. You have never left a comment here before. All comments from new readers must be manually approved or I’d have a blog full of spam comments selling products from China. After you left your comment the screen would have read “your comment is awaiting moderation”, as it does for all new commenters.

I approve comments as quickly as I can but considering I am writing this blog, making trips to the store and caring for my newborn baby, it may take me a few hours to get to it.

I was going to do this deal at walmart but in small print it said excludes the .35 oz. which is this size. that is why it beeped.

The $4 coupon excludes .35oz single pack. If they took the trouble to write in “single pack,” I think is a good indication that they meant to include the twin packs above. It’s probably just coded wrong.

I couldn’t find the twin pack at my store but found the approximately 3 ounce tube for $9.99. I still felt with both the store coupon and the manufacturer’s coupon it was a pretty good deal but the $4 coupon wasn’t accepted and the cashier wouldn’t over ride it. Like you said Christie, the coupon states it won’t work for the .35 ounce single pack so you would assume everything else is okay. Walgreens gets their money so I don’t understand why they are becoming less accommodating to their customers. I have always tried to be really nice and appreciative but I’ve become more and more frustrated with them.

I try to develop good relationships with my stores and that sometimes helps with trust issues– not that it’s your fault of course, because I agree, NancyH, Walgreens is definitely becoming more and more wary of coupons. Very frustrating at times.

Christie– I think you’re amazing with all you do! And with a new baby, no less! I’m constantly in awe. I’m sure I’m not alone in that sentiment! <3 <3 <3
