So if you only buy 2 the monthly sale price wouldn’t work? Why wouldn’t it ring up $4 for the first can and $0 for the second?
Not necessarily – since the second one is $0 it may not count as anything at all. So it’s more likely to ring up full price and $0. The sales price is 2/$8 – so if you buy (4) – since two of them are $0 – it only counts the two you are paying for.
