Hi,
My store has an end display with the promotion buy $10.00 of Shick & Skintimate woman’s shave products and receive a movie ticket (up to $10.00) for the movie Pitch Perfect. It had to be activated by 6/30/15 and used by 7/31. It also said buy $20.00 and get a $10.00 RR. Hope this helps someone. Sandy (This movie promotion is through Fandango and our movie house (AMC) lets us use them on any movie)

NOTE: I just tried this at the Walgreens with the display and it did not print out the movie pass. The clerk said that he thought it was starting on Sunday and the display was NOT suppose to be out yet! Just a heads up not to do it yet! Start looking for it on Sunday!

You only have to spend $20 to get the $10 RR. 🙂 And be on the lookout for clearanced 4ct Quattro Sensitive. They work beautifully in this deal.

I just tried this deal, however the cashier said I wouldn’t get the RR because after both coupons, and before tax the total was less then $20. and you need to spend $20 to get the RR. Anyone have experience with this? is she right? I have another set of coupons, do I need to try another store?

No, she is wrong – the $20 is before coupons not after. Next time just try it and just let the cashier be surprised when it prints. 😉

I also found clearance 4ct Quattro Sensitive for $7.39. I only had 2 $5 coupons with me, but still ended up paying $2.17 after RR for 3 4ct refills!

Tried to score on this deal at one of my Walgreens and it would only work with the hydrosilk razor/refills and would not take both coupons in 1 transaction. Could it be the store or something I did?! Seems like it’s working for others :/ thanks

I think it’s more likely the cashier was having challenges scanning. Sometimes the bar codes can be moody – definitely not something you did!

What is your suggestion when I go in and try this again at a different Walgreens? I’m new to using coupon deals and want to make sure I’m doing this correctly 😉 I know the coupon states it’s for all the different types of Schick razors, but if it’s a barcode issue should they still honor it?

It goes based on the wording on the coupon. Barcodes can be moody quite often. For example – sometimes if the coupon has 2 barcodes they need to cover up one in order to get it to scan. Especially when it’s a printed coupon, there are so many factors – the code itself, the paper, your printer, the ink level. So it’s not an automatic assumption that a coupon that a cashier is having a hard time scanning = unacceptable. It’s based on the wording on the coupon. Hope that helps.
