I just started couponing at Walgreens and am new to the balance reward points. Do you get $5 back after you buy the shampoo even after coupons it’ll be $8? And does the $5 apply to your card? Thanks for sharing this deal. 🙂
Yes you pay $8 and you’ll get back $5 in points you can use on a future purchase. 🙂
Question for you…when I look at the ad, it says you have to purchase $25 to get the 5000 rewards points. Is there a separate deal going on for this week on Pantene where you only have to purchase $20 to get the points?

Ibought 6 Pantene and used the coupons but did not get any points. I paid with a Duane Reade card that I had money on . Do you not get points if you pay with this card?
If you pay with a card (not a gift card) but a card you got as part of an exchange or return – the system won’t automatically give you your points. However, just call Walgreens Balance Rewards and they will manually add your points to your account. 🙂 1-855-225-0400

Yes you will. It’s just when it’s an exchange that you have to call.
My Duane Reade car was one that I purcased from a gift card site. I didn’t know if it was from someone else’s refund or exchange. Thanks for the number, I’ll try calling.
