Here are some updates from my trip today to help your trip go a bit easier.
SPECIAL JUNE POINTS OFFER: Some of you are getting a special Catalina printing at checkout for extra points all during the month of June! The number of points per dollar spent seems to be varying by individual, so some people are getting 100pts per dollar spent, while others are getting different amounts like 75 or 25. The coupon is non-transferable so it’s only good for whomever it printed for.
If you get this coupon you’ll need to have it scanned with your next purchase and that’s it! You’ll automatically be earning extra points for your purchases in June, thru 6/30. So make sure not to throw away those Catalina print outs without checking them first!
REACH TOOTHBRUSHES: So part of today was spent trying to solve the great Reach toothbrush mystery. The Reach 2pk Value Packs with a free toothbrush – (for a total of (3) toothbrushes) was printing the $2 Register Reward for some people and not for others.
It seemed to always print without the Reach coupon, but when the $2 coupon was scanned it would only print 1/2 the time. So, I was determined to figure out why.
So after much trial and error, here’s the bottom line. If your cashier scans the OLD style bar code on the coupon, the Register Reward won’t print! If he or she scans the new one – the Value Packs will print the Register Reward! So my suggestion is fold the coupon in 1/2 and tell your cashier to scan the newer bar code. 🙂

M&M’s DEAL: I spotted a new display at my store with a coupon for 75¢ off/2 M&M’s Brand Chocolate Candies. These are on sale this week for just 59¢ with in ad coupon so you can use this coupon to get them for only 22¢ a piece. Look out for it, I found it in the candy isle. It doesn’t expire until 8/31 so you have plenty of time to take advantage of this one.

My store had these, but the peelies expired yesterday. 🙁
Just a note on the scunci… The peelies expired yesterday but my cashier told me they will honor them. (Could be a ymmv) also my RR did not print for those and they had to adjust it for me afterwards.
my reach and scunci rrs printed just fine. i rolled between the 2 using points. paid 18 cents per transaction. i also got some mac and cheese cups…they had 75 cents off peelies on them, so that was a nice surprise!
which one is the new one that they should scan? The short or longer one? TIA 🙂

My Scunci had peelies too but they weren’t expired – thank goodness. So I was able to get this deal.
I received back a $3/1 Revlon lip product Catalina. So, I can use it next week to get free Revlon lipstick after the Catalina coupon and the $4 in RR I’ll get back! Be on the lookout for these, too!!!
I got rr for reach toothbrush. I don’t know which barcode they were scanning. I bought at 3 different stores because didn’t wanted to clear shelf and it worked at each store. I didn’t buy scunci product. I’ll try tomorrow. Thanks and I really love this updates from the field.
When doing my reach purchase today , it didn’t work , had the $2 and no RR spit out! I wad told by management that using a M C and receiving a RR are the same thing! I was not happy!
We all know that’s not true, yet there are still some clueless managers around!

I tried doing the Twin+1 Reach this morning and was very frustrated when no RR printed. After reading this, I went again tonight and tried the longer barcode—-no problems at all! The RR printed perfectly (but my Scunci peelies were all expired). Thank you!!!
Any idea how we get the special catalina giving us points all month? I did 3 transactions this morning and didn’t get it. 🙁
I didn’t get it either yesterday. Might be a new thing they are trying out and a different batch of people might get it next month. I’ll let you know if I figure out what’s prompting it but it might just be at random or attached to random card numbers.
