MUCINEX DEAL: Here’s some good news for you on the Mucinex deal. This one is still giving $3 (3,000 Walgreens Balance Rewards Points) upon purchase. That makes this one a nice little Money Maker. You’ll have a 50¢ Money Maker with just the coupon and points and a $3 Money Maker if you also submit for the Mail In Rebate.

SHOTZ REGISTER REWARD: The Register Reward for Shotz is not printing for any of the flavors. Looks like for some reason they weren’t programmed to work properly. My guess is that this will be fixed at some point this week but for right now, hold off on purchasing these.
If you did purchase one I’d return it to the store or bring it back along with a copy of the ad. I’ve updated my Walgreens Shopping Scenarios to reflect this.

read that if you scan the barcode on the bottle of the shotz, that the RR will print. won’t print if you scan the paper packaging barcode.

Lily, you’re wonderful! I went to my Walgreens and had 2 of the Shotz and the lady said “Don’t even bother because the register reward hasn’t been printing.” I said “Just bear with me, I want to try something.” She was shaking her head, but scanned the code on the bottles (not the box, just like you said to do) and it worked perfectly!!! She was shocked and said she’d have to remember that for the next person that would try it. So thank you, Lily, great suggestion!
I had my cashier scan the barcode on the bottle and the computer said that the item was not in the system. She then scanned the barcode on the paper packaging and it rang up. It did print the RR though. It was funny because my cashier seemed to be as happy as I was that it printed.
Happy Cash did not print for me even though I reached over $30 subtotal (already factoring in Wags coupons). I heard someone else said theirs did not print either. My subtotal showed after my mfr. coupons were deducted even though mfr. coupons are not included toward the $30 total.
Got mine heard others r getting 10 instead of 5
When I went I got the Shotz and it didn’t give me the $5 RR and I also spent the $20 for the olay and old spice and it didn’t print the $5 RR for that either. Also before manufactures coupons was $29.94, does anyone know if it would have triggered the Happy Cash or are they strict on the $30??
You do have to hit at least $30 at Walgreen’s or it will not trigger any threshold. Also, which happened to me once, I picked up something from the cooler that was considered dairy but wasn’t dairy and that was why it didn’t trigger either. Just an FYI.

I did the shotz, bought 3 old spice deo and 3 old spice sprays,also 3 secret deos and 3 sprays and none of them gave me the RR. I did this 3 transactions…..manager told me to call cust service who told me to cantact catalina which I did. They took all my info and said they would take 10 – 12 days to see if my purchases qualified for RR. So now I amwondering if I should just return it all???

I bought one package of Shotz this morning and the RR didn’t print. I called the store and told them (didn’t check before I left) and they said to come back anytime during the day and they would take care of it. I went back a few hours later and the manager re-did the transaction and the RR printed. She gave me the RR and voided the transaction.
Bought 4 mucinex and some fillers and got $10 happy cash. I used 4 coupons for mucinex and some rr from last week and received 12000 points for mucinex.
Great minds think alike! I bought 4 Mucinex, 1 filler, and used a $10 RR to pay. I received 12,000 points and a $10 Happy Cash coupon! Didn’t even realise I was spending $30 (of course, I used 4 coupons), so I was quite surprised when I got the Happy cash.
How did you get $10 in Happy Cash? You only spent $30, so shouldn’t you have gotten $5 Happy Cash?
You’re completely right, Janet. I have no idea how I got it, all I know is I bought 4 Mucinex ($30 exactly) and got $10 Happy Cash back. Maybe a glitch in their system, or maybe I’m missing something, but I’m glad I got it! 🙂

I got the shotz reward when I bought the acai version, the pomegranate did not work for me, I had to return it.

You need a small filler to use the rr and Yes you will get 12000 points and happy cash. Yesterday it was giving $10 happy cash on $30 purchase. I don’t know about today.
the snickers easter candy is $1/2 but also there is 1,000 points wyb 3 deal going on nice little money maker there. since they are already free when you use $1/2 mfc.

I also purchased the Pomegranate Shotz and didn’t get the RR, but went to another store later and bought the acai and it worked!?? It is getting more and more complicated and time consuming to shop at Walgreens. So, thank you Christie for all your help to make it a little less so!
