i have been coupon shopping at Walgreens for about 4 years. was in one of the stores i have frequently shopped at and it did not go well trying to use this almay coupon. i have used this one in the past several times with no problem.
however, the trip i made Saturday was less than stellar. i had 4 of the almay eye shadows that were 4.99 bogo50% off and the $2 ivc in book. the cashier that i had has always been a bid snobbish and proceded to tell me that i can not use the coupon for the face value it would need adjusted. after a conversation between her and the manager it seems it does not matter if you have other stuff that you are purchasing the are not allowing more than what you are paying for it.
To me this is not right they are going to turn this $5 coupon in for that and get it when i only received 1.97 off my total. how can they do this? I have never in 4 years had a coupon adjust when i was purchasing other things. just had to get that off my chest. i was furious when i left the store mostly because in the last 2 weeks i have used about 10 of those coupons and never an issue.
