I’m new to shopping at Walgreens, so this is probably a silly question. If the total is $8.98 and the coupons add up to $9, does it just take of $8.98 or will you get $.02 back? or do you use a filler to make your total above $9? Thanks in advance for the help!

According to Walgreen’s coupon policy, they should price modify the coupon down to $4.98 so it comes out to nothing. Then you just pay tax. Unless you live in Texas; they get overage.

If you use a filler, as I have always done, it will take the .02 off the additional product. I have never tried it without a filler, so they may have to adjust the price of the product up or the price of the coupon down if you don’t have a filler. I’m not sure if it would just take off the 8.98 with 9.00 in coupons without manual adjustment. Either way, you won’t get cash back. :/

Confused…$5.99 and $5.99 is $11.98, not $8.98, so how would they be free?

I took some time off from couponing and wondering how I can avoid that dreaded beep, in which order do I give the cashier the coupons? Walgreens first then the manufacturers? They should adjust the manufacturer’s coupons, correct?

I’m new to couponing. I just grabbed one of the dec coupon books. For this deal do you need two separate wags coupons? Or can I just show cashier the coupon book and scan twice??

Would we have to use 2 of the $2/1 Walgreens coupons? Or is 1 coupon good for both items?

ONE Wags coupon would automatically cover both items…
