I thought the Nature Made coupons were mfg coupons – wouldn’t that put the total to qualify for the Jingle Cash below the $30 limit?

They are MQ – so they don’t count in your total. They are just in a Walgreens magazine, not Walgreens coupons.

What if I use Balance Rewards to pay for my purchase? If I spend $30, but then pay for part of it with Balance Rewards (which drops my total paid with cash below $30), can I still earn Jingle Cash?

Ditto! Is “redeeming balance points” under the “after applicable discounts” category or “before some coupons are imposed” category? Balance points is an earned discount, not an unearned discount like the store cpns (Insta Valu Coupons)…thx!

Sorry! I read the post wrong. I thought it had to be $30 after MFG not Walgreens. Too many coupon deals cluttering up my brain right now!

When I print the Hyland’s coupon, it is very small. I adjusted it so that it fit the page, but it still printed very small and the barcode is blurry. Is anyone else having this problem?

If you pay with points will that make you not earn the jingle cash?

I would assume that Points and Register Rewards would count as Walgreen’s coupons…

If you buy $30 of the p&g items … Do you get both the $10 rr rewards and $5 jingle cash?

That Hyland coupon is crazy, it prints so small and the whole dang ad prints with it, I hope they’ll take it.

I made a purchase over $30 but after coupons and RR was under $30…the people at the store were no help…who would I call to talk to to try and get this resolved?

I did not get the $5 Jincgle Cash, is what I meant to say. The people at the store say they called corporate and they said it was before RR, which this post says the opposite…

When I went to the store the other day my total came to ~$78 before coupons of any kind. After I presented all of my coupons my total went down to $12. No Jingle Bucks (at all) printed from the register. So I wonder if there is a glitch in the system that makes it consider MQs as WQs? The manager we spoke to rang up an item that cost $59.99 twice and cashed it out to see what would happen and the $20 Jingle Bucks printed fine without a problem.

I’m trying to redeem my jingle cash. Does anyone know if the $30 total has to be after MFR Q or before?

I was wondering the same thing about redeeming my jingle cash from last week. Can we use manufacturer coupons and register rewards with jingle cash to bring our total down if we spend $30 total and hand the cashier the jingle cash to scan first?

Yes you can, Sarah! However, if you are attempting to use a $5 Jingle cash from last week, be certain to go over $35, after store coupons but before manufacturer coupons and RRs so you can earn another Jingle Cash for next week! If you have a $10 Jingle cash from last week, then go over $40 to earn another jingle cash. I did a couple of transactions and only paid $3-4 in actual cash. I used mfgc coupons and RR’s and Jingle cash and earned some more jingle for next week!

I am confused (so are the Walgreen staff) about Jingle cash. (I asked the assist manager prior to starting my order about coupons etc and what were the qualification to earn jingle cash) Ok I earned $5 jingle cash last week. Yesterday, purchased $50.97 ( before tax) prior to any coupon use…. I used MQ, $5 jingle cash, I thought I would get $10 jingle cash but not I got $5. Then the discussion between several cashiers and the store assistant manager was were all of my items “qualifying”. After that discussion, the assistant manager went to talk to the manager (leaving me standing at the check out counter for a long time ). He said the jingle cash dropped me below the $50 so that is why I got $5. Is that correct? The jingle cash effects the sub total causing you to drop below the desired amount. I would love to understand. I look forward to your response.

Kathy, Jingle Cash is a Store Coupon,( just like an IVC) so when you had $50.97 and you used your $5 jingle cash, your total became less than $50! That’s why you only got $5. If your total had been $55.97 then you would use your $5 Jingle cash, your total would have been $50.97 you would have gotten $10. The threshold must be met after any store coupons are deducted (Jingle cash, IVC from monthly book, or in-ad coupons) BUT BEFORE manufacturer coupons.
