Hallmark Cards – Money Maker at Walgreens!

by Christie Bisbee on June 24, 2013

99 cent cardsWoo Hoo!  The .99¢ Hallmark greeting cards are working for the Hallmark deal:  buy 3 and get $2 (2,000 points).  Not all Walgreens may carry these, and at the store that I found them, there was no signage, but I decided to try them.  So here are two deal ideas for you depending on what cards your store carries.

HallmarkWalgreens Deals
Buy (3) Hallmark Cards, .99¢ Reg. Price
Total = $2.97
$2/3 Hallmark Card Purchase printable
Total = 97¢, Get Back $2 (2,000 pts.)
= FREE + You Make $1.03

Total = $3.97, Get Back $2 (2,000 points)
= 66¢ Each!

Keep in mind not all stores carry the 99¢ cards, but I was really happy with the $1.99 cards. They had a larger selection at that price and they are really nice quality!

I just printed the coupon and it says there is a minimum $2 purchase required. Did they change that, or did you just try to use it anyway and it was accepted?

You just have to get a total of $2 worth of cards, it doesn’t mean the card has to cost $2. The coupons at Walmart say the same thing. You can buy $0.50 cards as long as you get $2’s worth.

I did this today and got Thank you cards for my daughter that just graduated. It worked like a charm. I’m going to do it a few more times on Wed. and have a stash of cards for B-days, Thank yous and a couple other occassions.

Is this coupon a PDF or a unique print? I don’t want to misuse it.

I haven’t couponed since Wags came out with their Rewards program so I’m not sure about how it all works yet. If I pay with register rewards will I still get the points?

Yes Debra, RR use will give you points and points used will give you RR. You just cannot use points to get more points or RR to get another RR on same product. HTH.

the only thing about this coupon is it states one per customer ;( but i’m guessing if we use them in different transactions, that it will work out fine.
