Walgreens: Updates From the Field 6/23!

by Christie Bisbee on June 23, 2013

Lever 2pkHere are some updates from my trip today that can help make your Walgreens shopping trip a bit easier and more successful!

LEVER DEAL: Great news! The Lever 2 pks are included in the B1G1 Free sale! Plus we have a coupon we can use to get these for just 24¢ a 2pk! Seriously 12¢ a bar is an AWESOME deal for Lever 2000 bar soap. Keep in mind the coupon limits you to 2 per shopping trip so you’ll only be able to do this deal once per day.

Walgreens Deal (thru 6/29)
Buy (2) Lever 2000 2pk $2.49 B1G1 FREE
(2) $1/1 Lever 2000 Bar or Body Wash (ets) printable
= 24¢ EACH 2pk or 12¢ a Bar

HUGGIES DEAL: The Huggies that are specially marked at $2 a pk 64ct are not ringing up B1G1 50% off even though the ad just says 64ct. However if you are in need of wipes, you can use the $1/1 Huggies 64ct+ (when you play game) to grab them for $1 each, which is a good price if you need them.

Screen Shot 2013-06-23 at 12.59.47 PMBAND-AIDS DEAL: The lowest priced Band-Aids working for the Band-Aid B1G1 Free deal are $3.99 each. Still a great deal after coupons, but the $2.79 products are not included. Here’s

Chex MixCHEX MIX DEAL: My store was well stocked with Chex Mix! So I stocked up. I’m always looking for inexpensive snack food especially over the summer months. If you are a Chex Mix fan don’t forget you can grab these for as low as 40¢ each!

I wish there had been some BOGO in the $2-$3 range. At my store, the lowest price for Band Aids was $4.19 and there were only 2 left. I bought 2 at $4.19 and 2 at $4.49. They were quilted and I had 4 coupons for that variety. I went ahead with the deal because I could really use a first aid kit and band aids and I had $7 RRs from last week. I’m still pleased with the deal. Thanks for posting. 🙂

Oh, and my kids were thrilled with their shopping as well. This month one turned 5 and the other turned 3. The three year-old picked up a Mickey Mouse that plays music and lights up and my five year-old got a remote controlled car. The toys were both 9.99 before clearance and the MM was 2.59 and the car 4.99 on clearance. They split the cost of a 16 pack of Wags batteries and both spent less then the $10 they had each been given by a family friend for b-day money. Whoo hoo! lol.

That’s adorable! I have a 3 year old and a 5 year old, too, and this sounds just like something we’d do! Just made me smile. 🙂

The Chex Mix at my store had 20% more free and they rang up at the sale price.

Hi Julie!

My store also had the 20% more bags! I got 8 bags w/ 8 coupons, and there were still plenty left 🙂

My Lever 2000 were $2.79 B1G1, but $.40 for 2 bars is still a great deal- PLUS, they smell really nice! My trunk and my cabinet smells like the soap bars 🙂

My store had a LOT of clearances! I will need to bring my coupons and go back tomorrow- Aveeno, Avalon Organics, J.R. Watsons Lotions, Party Supplies, OTC Medications (Generic Dayquil/Nyquils), and Gum/Candies! 😀

I tried to buy the Mitchum deodorants with my points and coupons but the register only allowed 3000 points per 2 deodorants so still had to pay 1.36 oop but still got the 4 rr so not bad still…then turned around and bought the Colgate mouthwashes with the rr so got my points back!

Victor, I am assuming you owed $4, I think you can only redeem 1000, 3000, 5000 points and that is why it only allowed you to use 3000 points

I have redeemed 2000 points before, I guess it just depends on the product

Hi, I was planning to do this deal too but I’m wondering the rr from the deodorants is 4rr so did you get 4 colgate mouthwash? Did you get all the 4000 pts in one trans? I’m wondering if I can use 4 coupons for the mouthwash, use the 4rr from the deodorant and get 4000 pts back in just one trans? Thank you.

Isn’t the bandaid deal working with the free build your own first aid kit?

Yes Elisa, buy 2 bags get 2000 points. You have to get 4 bandaides tho. (1 bag with 2 bandaides is free)

Make sure you get all of the RRs due to you- the Colgate toothbrush $2RR did not print for me and they ended up giving me $2 on a gift card.

did anyone have luck with the $2 Huggies wipes ring up at the B1G1 50%?
Can they manually adjust the price since the ad shows that the wipes should be B1G1 50%
