I got some great ideas from another website (which was very helpful), on how to redeem 40K Points for $50.

I only did one transaction:

(2) Hefty Trash Bags @ $5.99 ea — (2)-$1/1 MQ & get $1 Ibotta)
(1) U by Kotex Click Tampons @ $3.99 — (1)-$2/1 MQ, get $2 RR)
(1) Morton Epson Salt @ $4.00 — (No Q, but get $4 RR)
(1) 3M Nexcare Blister Bandages 6 ct. @ $3.50 — (1)-.55/1 MQ, get $3.50 RR)
(1) Crest Pro-Health Mouthwash @ $2.99 — (1)-$1.50/1 MQ, get $2RR)
(4) Nivea Body Wash @ $3.50 ea — (2)-$3/2 MQ)
(2) Tena-Serenity Pads @ $10.99 ea — (2)-$1/1 MQ)
(1) J&J Build Your Own First Aid Kit Pouch @ $1.29 — (No Q, just forgot to get it last time).

Total after Q’s = $52.98
Redeemed 40k points for $50 = $2.98 OOP including tax
Received $11.50 in RR’s & $1 Ibotta

Today really was a great day to cash out points; hoping I can use my RR’s next week on the Ultimate Flora deal. The Listerine whitening variety was not included in my sale, so did not do that deal. I used the BOGO 50% off Wags brand liners as 2 of my fillers; I actually prefer them to Carefree. Also the Clorox bleach with In-ad coup is only .69 after .75 printable coup and 250 points. And totally unrelated to Wags, but I found a tear pad at my local HyVee grocery store for “Save $3 wyb $10 worth of participating Dove products.” Coup does not list any products, but has pictured bath bars, body wash, deo, shampoo, etc. It’s a man coup exp. 6/30/13.

Diane – Where did you find a .75/1 printable for Clorox bleach?

Jean April 15, 2013 at 1:42 am

Not sure where you are located, but if you have a Menards (WI, MN) check at their rebate area as they had packes of $1.50 off 2 clorax products. They also had $3 off $10 clorox products. There was also rip off pads for the $.75 off Clorox. So check around at your hardware stores, etc. coupons.com there lately has had a $1.00 of Clorox spray.

At a Pic N’ Save in the Milwaukee area (also Roundys, Rainbow Foods in Midwest) they had some stores carrying the Clorox Spray 2 for $5, and some stores 2 for $3 and then a reward of $1 back on your receipt when you bought two CLorox products. So with using the $1.00 Clorox spray coupons on double days, this was a great money maker on two..$3.00 – Two $1.00 coupons that doubled to cover the price, then $1.00 off receipt. I have 14 bottles of the spray…so great to have the big CLorox promo going on.

http://www.clorox.com/laugh/ick-tionary/ coup is .75 any Clorox product with no size restrictions.

I lucked out today, I went to a wags wayyyyy wayyyy on the other side of town (right next to senior community)
After I picked up what I came in for, the kotex and allergease I spotted a rack that said “all orange tags $2”
I picked up-
2 olay pro-x mask & moisturized
3- perfume sets paris Hilton, ed hardey and curve
1-yes to blueberries eye roller
THe manager came over and told me to not forget the other rack up front….I thought “junk!!” LOL
when I was done, I walked over to it. All of this I got for $1 each.
1-scotch tape dispenser
1-elnett hairspray
8-john frieda shampoo, conditioner and full repair
9-loreal ever…everpure, eversleek, evercreme, everstrong
4-garnier fructis shampoo, conditioner and 2X3day blow dry balm
2-nexxus conditioners
when I was going to check out the other lady at the cart walked over and gave me her catalina ($2/1 loreal ever… ) that’s when I spotted another one on the floor next to the rolling cart along with a set of king sheets for $2:)
I go over the check out in photo lab, but they send me to the B.A. instead. Next to her register is another $2/1 loreal cat! I asked if I could have it and she said they’d been printing out when someone purchased any of the $1 loreal stuff. She walked around to the trash can near the exit and found another one.
lucky, lucky me! I already had $1/1 from some sample, 4X$1/1 garnier, $3/2 john frieda, and $5/1 olay pro-x. Every item had to be adjusted(the perfume sets rang up $19.96 and $29.96) Before coupons my total was $50.?? after it came out to $30.13
I got back $2RR for kotex, $4RR for allergease and then noticed I also got back 12,000 points. any idea what I got that for? I’ve looked at the ad, and can not figure it out:)

if your store has tear pads for 2.00 off when you buy any 7up, Sunkist or A&W rootbeer 20 oz or larger, and 1 orbit gum and one MnM, poduct, there is good deal I did.
Buy 2 A&W ten 2 liters (2.00)
Buy 2 MnM (99 cents each or 2 for 1.79)
Buy 2 Orbit gum 15 pack (2 for 2.00 or 1.29 each)
total 5.79 – 4.00 mfg coupons pay 1.79 oop plus tax. get back 1.00 RR for the A&W
like paying 79 cents for 6 things.
I found the tear pad in front of the gum.

I did same on toothpaste and mouthwash, but just had them return and rebuy it…I always go to make-up counter for this type of thing…they get it…it really isn’t clear and seems most understand and rering it. Leaving the coupon on the first order.
My transaction today was:

1) Nexcare with .55 coupon.
Nose strips
Soda
Crest

2) Epson Salts
John Freida Shampoo ($2.00 off)

3) Mouthwash
Fillers

Only spent about $10.00 out of pockets (mostly because of shampoo but it was a big bonus bottle)

I’m saving my $50/40,000 points for flowering plants in May. Hopefully there will be a week like this week at the same time so I can take part in both; some freebies AND flowers!

I got an unexpected $2 rr when I bought two 6 packs of Scott’s paper towels. $5 each -$1 wg q + $1 mfg coupon. Paid $6 for two, received $2 rr. Final price $2 each or $. 33 roll. Someone said $2 rr wyb 2, $3 rr wyb 3 until April 30. I was pretty happy!

I thought you could only use 1 walgreens coupon on a certain product per transaction. Or can you use 1 walgreens coupon per product? The cashiers at my Walgreens aren’t the most helpful and I’m new to couponing at Walgreens so I would really appreciate it if anyone could help clarify this rule. Thank you!

Reply

grace April 15, 2013 at 7:16 am

the walgreens coupon automatically deducts, if you buy two of the same product, the walgreens coupon automatice deducts twice, if you buy three, it deducts thrice. You do not have to have two of the same walgreen coupon, they just scan it once

Would I be able to use the Kotex RR to pay for the Crest and still get an RR from the Crest?

Reply

Diane April 15, 2013 at 11:55 pm

Yes, Kotex is Kimberly Clark and Crest is P&G.

Becky April 14, 2013 at 11:53 pm

Is there an advantage to using the $50 in points on one transaction? I have 46,000+ points and was planning on using them this week on a few things.

Reply

Jean April 15, 2013 at 1:50 am

Use just 40,000 to get the $50 deal. Then what remains starts accumlating again toward 40,000. If you use more than 40,000 in one tranaction, then you are kindof losing out on your progress towards the next 40,000. I’ve done it twice this way, and it is the way to go.

Reply

melssa April 15, 2013 at 8:59 am

Get ur moneys worth versus using 10,000 which is only 10,40,000 is 50 than use ur rr to gain points I’m always doing this its how I stay pretty well off wit points or rr

At my Walgreens it does. They actually have a tag by it B1G1 50%off and if you buy $15 I believe you get 4000 pts. That is a great deal!!!!

Jenn April 15, 2013 at 1:08 pm

Has anyone tried to use 4 of these coupons in the same transaction?? and it worked??

Reply

Stacie – the coupon is only for the intense i-color makeup. Any other use is fraud.

I learned a valuable lesson today. Don’t wash your jeans that have your RR’s in the pocket. I washed $11 in RR’s today and they disintigrated!!!! When I opened the washer I found $14 in dollar bills and almost had a heart attack… That is when I realized my RR’s were in there too… My black t shirt had little white pieces of paper all stuck to it….They were all in the fibers of my shirt. I have washed it 4 times so far and I think it finally has all the tiny pieces of paper out of it!!!! UGH UGH UGH!!!!!! I will never do that again…

rashelle April 15, 2013 at 1:18 pm

Today I went to 3 different stores (I am in Jax, FL) to try to get any of the mouthwashes pictured here but, unfortunately for me, only the kids’ one worked. The odd thing was that they tried to scan the other 3 varieties and they were not ringing, the register was not recognizing the products, and this happened at each of the 3 stores I visited.

Reply

Jean April 16, 2013 at 2:25 am

I had two occasions separate stores where it literally took 1/2 hour to check out because of their errors. I’d report these stores up to Walgreens.com. It gets so frustrating when stores don’t know how to price right, don’t know Walgreens coupon policy, etc.

Reply

Charlotte April 16, 2013 at 12:38 am

A great idea is buying the crest mouthwash and use the coupon is p&g and get the $2rr and roll the rr and buy 2 boxes of tampax pearl they are buy 1 get 1 50% off. I am a wags employee so for 2 boxes of tampons and mouthwash I pay $1.63. Still a great deal without the employee discount and the rr keeps rolling over 🙂
