Sunday 4/7 ONLY – Special Balance Rewards Offer! 5,000 Points for Every $30!

by Christie Bisbee on April 6, 2013

Screen Shot 2013-04-06 at 10.07.33 PMWoo Hoo! I got an e-mail for a special Walgreens Balance Rewards deal tomorrow! You’ll want to check your e-mail to see if you got it too or look to see if it’s advertised on the bottom of your areas local ad. If it is you’ll get $5 (5,000) Walgreens Balance Rewards points when you spend $30+ in store and on-line.

If you got this offer, remember the $30 is before manufacturer’s coupons but after Walgreens coupons, so don’t let that throw you off. Let us know if you got it too and if you take advantage of this offer tomorrow.

(Thanks Victoria! 🙂 )

The same offer is also written (very small) at the bottom of the front page of the ad, so hopefully we will all get it.

Ok just made my trip to wags. The reach total care floss is ringing up as BOGO 50% off, so instead of the floss being 2/$6 it is actually ringing up as 1@$3, and 1@$1.50! I bought 4 total = $9.00. I used (2) of the $1/2 mc, I got 6,000 in points and the 3RR making this a $2 MM! woo hoo!

$9.00-(2) 1.00 mc = 7.00 – 6,000 in points = 1.00 -$3RR = $2 MM

I also bought 6 of the EZ Contour glucose meters, they are on sale for $9.99 plus there is a $10 off coupon in the diabetic care booklet and you get 2,000 in points for each making them 2MM also. I also got 8 pencils as fillers = .80

This is how it came out.
Reach 9.00
Glucose 59.94
Pencils 0.80
Total = $69.74 before tax. I was hoping to get the 5,000 points when you spend $30 (twice) but it only gave it to me once. I wonder if I would have broken my meters into two transactions if I would have gotten 5,000 for each??

oop=just under $8
Points=21,000
RR=3

Woo hoo! I’m planning on using it to stock up on Allegra! 37 Count = $17.99 x 2 = $35.98 – (2) $6 coupons = $23.98 – 5000 pts buying 2 – 5000 pts for > $30 = $13.98 = $6.99/each!

Especially good for this time of year!

Is alcohol excluded from total? I didnt really think about it and forgot I was counting the alcohol and didnt get it. But I also didn’t get my Cascadian farms points or the neosporin points, havent really quite figured that out yet.
