Walmart refused to honor the coupon and I doubt Walgreens will too, the soap is considered a facial item whereas the coupon says for hair, hand body and men’s item.

These bars are included in the 25% off sale.

My Wags refused to honor it. They said they would commit coupon fraud for having to adjust the price. No merchant is allowed to adjust the coupon value, according to the clerk. The store is reimbursed for the face value on the coupon and not passing the saving to the customer institutes fraud? Never had the issue before but the register computer refused to accept it. Left without my soap but had a bad taste in my mouth.

I would bring a copy of the Walgreens coupon policy to the store. It’s kind of sad that they don’t know their own store policy. 🙁

I tried the coupon today & the register said “coupon exceeds the price of the item”. I didn’t know about the policy…thought it would be asking too much for them to adjust the coupon. This is their policy quote: “In the event that any item’s selling price is less than the value of the coupon, Walgreens will only accept the coupon in exchange for the selling price of the item. Coupon redemption can never exceed the selling price of an item and no cash back is ever provided in exchange for any coupons.”
I guess I’ll try it again tomorrow and ask if they will adjust the coupon.

The bars say facial. The coupon doesnt include face items.

The coupon was regional. We didn’t get it in Des Moines, IA.
