*HOT* Dove Men+Care Body Wash Low As $0.23 After Bonus Register Reward!

by Christie Bisbee on November 7, 2012

WOW! The Dove Men+Care deal is even better than we thought! Dove Men+Care is on sale for 20% off, and 5,000 Walgreens Balance Rewards points when you buy $15. Plus we have some super HIGH value coupons for it!

To make a great deal even better, a $2 Register Reward is printing, making the Dove Men+Care products as low as $0.23 each! Shannyn did this deal at her store this morning and boy was she pleasantly surprised!

Walgreens Deal
Buy (4) Dove Men+Care Body and Face Wash 13.5oz $4.23 (20% off price)
= $16.92
(2) $2.50/1 Dove Men+Care Body Wash, Body/Face Bar or Shower Tool (Savings Club)
(2) $2/1 Dove Men+Care Body Wash, Body and Face Bar or Shower Tool
= $7.92, Get 5,000 Balance Reward Points PLUS a $2 Register Reward
TOTAL = $0.23 each!

Prices will vary slightly depending on your store, but it’s an AWESOME deal either way! Going to grab some today, my hubby loves this “man soap”. 😉

(Thanks Shannyn for the super deal! :))

SO SO SO SO SO happy to see some register rewards coming back around, hopefully wags realized how valuable they are and have decided not to phase them out completely!!!

LOL doubt it. My store is busier than ever with express scripts coming back and balance rewards. I expect RR to be phased out sooner rather than later.

What zipcode is giving $2.50/1? mine is only printing $2/1

Reply

lee November 7, 2012 at 11:31 am

2.50 is for savings club

Karen November 7, 2012 at 11:36 am

The $2.50/1 coupon is through the savings club. I see it with zipcode 30303. And just to let everyone know…these bodywashes are free or a money maker through Kroger.

This did not work for me in west TX. The computer would only take two Dove coupons.

is it worth it to pay for savings club?

Reply

Jordan November 7, 2012 at 2:01 pm

The register reward did not print for me? I called Walgreens and they said it takes 2 days for someone to call me back about it…does this make sense?
Thanks Jordan

I just tried the deal and it would only accept 2 of the coupons. When, the cashier checked the coupons they say something like “$2.50 off Dove Men+Care Body Wash and Body/Face Bar or Shower Tool (Savings Club)”. So, they both are $2.50/2 and $2/2 coupons.
I was so psyched for this great deal too….

I just figured out the “and” part… ignore my previous comment. They are both off of 1 item…. It is late. I was in there for an hour. Brain not processing very well.. Guess I’ll try that deal again tomorrow!

Is this deal only on the body wash or are other products included?

I believe you can also buy the active shower tool as part of this deal. 🙂

I tried this deal a couple of hours ago and came up with two problems:

First, only two of the coupons would scan at a time. The cashier told me that because of the fine print of the coupons, which says there is a limit of two identical coupons per transaction, I could not use all four. I tried explaining that two of the coupons were $2.50 and two of them were $2.00 (NOT identical) to no avail.

Secondly, she told me that on deals like this, the total purchase required to gain the Balance Rewards Points is AFTER coupons, not before. This information does not match what I’ve read here, so I just want to check to be certain. Does anyone have clarification on this part of the rewards program policy?

That happened to me earlier, but I went to another walgreens, used 4 $2.50, the first 2 scanned fine but the other 2 they had to manually put in. Now some cashiers know how to do it, and some don’t. Thats why I went to the walgreens that I know cashier knows what they’re doing. I tried to do deals at walgreens only when I see the cashier I know that knows how to work the register.

You’ll get your points after using 4 coupons. They can also enter the two coupons that didn’t scan manually.

Same thing happened to me, my first $2.00 mc scanned, and then my other 2- $2.50 didn’t. I told the cashier if we can ask the manager about it, and the manager manually encode my coupon. I also told them it’s not identical referring to the amount.

our price here in Northern Virginia was $5.39 for 1 bottle not $4.23 🙁 so I couldn’t get this awesome deal

Reply

Christie November 8, 2012 at 10:31 am

They were $5.39 after the 20% off? Did you have them scan it? That would mean they were $6.48 before the discount regular price which would be totally out of line with the rest of the country. 🙁

Are reward points cumulative?? Can I buy in one wags 2 and in another wags the other 2 so I can get my points and my RR??

Bryan November 9, 2012 at 12:39 am

I had the same problem as others today: Only two coupons would register and the clerk said it was because all four were identical coupons (even though two were $2.50 and two were $2.00).
I’m going to try another Walgreens in the area tomorrow. Hope I have better luck!

My problem was the $5.79 reg price, $4.63 with 20% off. I only had the $2 Q’s and they did have to manually enter 2 of them, so 11.84 (after taxes) – $2RR = $9.84,
or $2.46 each.

Wow, a disappointment turn into a victory!
Bought 4, was only allowed to use two coupons because they apparently had a limit of 2 printed on them that I didn’t realize. Paid about $11, but got back $2 RR and 13,000 points. I’m guessing it’s an overlap deal for this week and next. I did it two more times and got 13,000 and $2 RR each time.
