*HOT* Walgreens: Updates From the Field – FREE Suave Shampoo & Conditioner!

by Christie Bisbee on June 17, 2012

Here’s an update from my trip to help your trip go a bit easier! I’ll probably do some more shopping later to day or tomorrow but I wanted to let you know about this hot deal ASAP.

SUAVE DEAL: There’s a super HOT deal on Suave Shampoos and Conditioners! These are ringing up the regular price of $1 AND printing the $2 Register Reward when you buy (2), NO COUPONS NEEDED. I tried the Green apple shampoo and Conditioner and they worked for me.  And the Refreshing Waterfall Mist works too. (Thanks Lisa & Shannyn! 🙂 ) If you buy a different one let us know if it works or not.

Now I’m sure this will be a popular deal, so I wouldn’t wait too long to do this one! And who knows if they’ll decide to take this item out of the register reward deal later in the week. So grab a free shampoo and conditioner while you can! 😉

Walgreens Deal Idea
Buy (2) Suave Shampoo or Conditioners $1
Total = $2, Get Back $2 Register Reward
= FREE!

REACH DEAL: If you have the Reach register reward from a couple of weeks back, remember, don’t pay for the Reach floss this week with it. Because it’s the same product and the same dollar value, there’s a good chance it’s coded the same. I have already spent mine so I can’t compare but it most likely is!

MAC & CHEESE COUPON: This one seems to be going thru with no problems so if you have the coupon, enjoy your super cheap Kraft Macaroni & Cheese!

STARBUCKS: I was super happy to find this well stocked at my store. This really is a super price for Starbucks coffee. You can either grab the bagged coffee for $4.99 or the K-Cups for $5.49. We are thinking about getting a Keurig so I might just buy some in advance.

Starbucks Coffee K-Cups 10pk or Ground Coffee 12oz $6.49
$2/2 Starbucks Coffee K-Cup Pack printable
$3/$13 any Starbucks products printable
$1.50/1 Starbucks coffee 11oz+, exp. 8/31/12 (SS 06/17/12)
= $4.99 BAGS or $5.49 K-CUPS

So, how did your shop go? Find any great deals? Let us know! 🙂

Sweet! Awesome way to roll those $2 RRs from the Nivea last week!

I purchased 2 of the $1 “Daily Clarifying” Suave shampoos and received the register rewards. Yay, free!

My store this morning wouldn’t use the $3 off $13 and 2 $1.50 off because they both state that they are manufacturer coupons.

Reply

Vicki June 21, 2012 at 6:16 pm

They are both man q’s and you cannot use them both, you can use 2 $1.50 or $# off $13…if you buy [email protected]-the $3 it equals 4.99 per bag

Had huge problems with the bogo mac q. Took 15 minutes and still wouldn’t go through.

Reply

Kristy June 17, 2012 at 1:53 pm

I wonder why u had problems. I bought 4 in 1 transaction and each coupon took off $1.60 automatically!

Reply

tracy June 17, 2012 at 5:02 pm

I know it couldn’t have been because of too many coupons/RR’s, I had 6 items and 3 coupons. One was a register reward though and for whatever reason it seemed to throw a monkey wrench in the works. I used the bogo by itself and had no problems with it later today. It also wasn’t caused by the total going in the negative either.Just one of those weird quirks I guess. 🙂

Reply

Elle June 18, 2012 at 9:47 am

I had the same problem with all of my BOGO coupons (Hershey’s, Suave, and two Mac&Cheese), AND the RR that I used. They wouldn’t go through and had to be input manually. By the time that was done, there was a gigantic line… Ugh.

Also had more items than coupons/RRs (5-6 coupons, 8+ items) and the total didn’t go in the negative.

Reply

Ann June 17, 2012 at 12:22 pm

My Mac and cheese when though fine. It automatically took off 1.60 when the cashier scanned it.

Does anyone know exactly which floss is producing the register reward?? My stores don’t have anything tagged. The floss 2 weeks ago was the whitening floss that produced the rr. Anyone know????

Reply

Diane June 17, 2012 at 4:18 pm

Ad states Total Care Floss. 30 yds. My Wags doesn’t carry it, so bummer.

Use the buy 2 get 1 free q from the 5/20 inserts!!

Reply

Edda June 17, 2012 at 3:16 pm

I did not use that Q bcuz it says “.50 cents off 2 Suave Professsionals”. The Suave Professionals are more pricey. I was happy to rolled 5 ($2RR of Goody) that were expiring 2day n bought 5 Suave shampoos n 5 Conditioners. The Q I have for the B2G1 is for the lotions. Is there also a Q for the shampoos B2G1? I did not get it 🙁

Reply

krisib June 17, 2012 at 7:51 pm

Yes there was it was attached to the same page in the insert right next to the b2g2 lotion coupons. It may have been regional….. where are you from? I’m in KS but usually ks is in the region that doesn’t get the good Qs so I can’t imagine other places not getting it.

The Alleve/Bayer register reward of spend $20 get a $10 RR would only work when the manager rang up 3 bottles of the exact Alleve pictured in the print ad despite the ad listing bottle sizes of 20 count to 300. I am in the St. Louis market and the 100 count bottle pictured in the ad was 9.99 at my stores so you had to buy 3 bottles to meet the “spend $20 requriement” and to trigger the register reward. Not nearly the deal I was hoping for.

Angel B June 17, 2012 at 2:36 pm

I got (3) Aleve 50ct caplets for $6.99 each = $20.97 before coupons and tax
used (3) – $2/1 Aleve 40ct+
paid = $14.97 and got back $10 RR
total OOP = $4.97 or $1.66 each

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so aggrivated with my untrained assistant manager at my WAGS!!! I went there this morning since it’s the last day to use the B2G1 FREE Q in the 5/20 insert because you can use 1 B2G1 FREE Q and get 2- $1 bottles and 1- $1.79 bottle for free and get a $2 RR because the Q has no restrictions it just says “Buy 2 suave shampoo or conditioner and get 1 free up to $3 max value” which means I should get the $1.79 bottle free…. I’m going to talk to the manager as is the checker tomorrow because the assistant manager was in my face shaking, yelling, causing a scene like I was stealing for trying to do it this way….. I have talked to multiple manufacturers about this issue and they always say max out the free value if there are no restrictions on the coupon. The manager always lets me do this but the assistant manager HATES me because i get good deals all of the time. I hope everyone else will go clip that Q and get this good deal!!! Hurry and clip that Q before the day’s over and get your 3 bottles FREE!!!!

Reply

Diane June 17, 2012 at 4:12 pm

Only B2G1 Suave q I got in 5/20 RedPlum was for Naturals body wash or kids body wash.

Reply

krisib June 17, 2012 at 7:52 pm

must’ve been regional

Reply

Diane June 17, 2012 at 11:17 pm

I’m in Iowa; seems there are many coupons we don’t get in the inserts. It’s a bummer you didn’t get your 3 free bottles…

Reply

krisib June 18, 2012 at 1:57 am

We didn’t get the $1/1 Wet n wild Q in our inserts or the $2/1 Wisk…. It stinks that coupons have been so regional lately!!! There is a great deal coming up on Xtra laundry Detergent I believe starting 6/24 at CVS… Xtra Detergent $1.49 each!!! Plus there’s a 75/2 or $1/2 Q out depending on the region! I’m very excited about this!! I normally pay $1.99 for laundry detergent but this is a great deal!! If you don’t have any Qs to go with this deal you can get them online. Time to stock up!

Reply

Michelle June 18, 2012 at 4:43 am

actually, i believe in the case of b1g1 or b2g1, the amount of the “free” item is usually the amount of the LEAST expensive item UP to the $3 amount. So in this case you would pay for the 1.79 item and a 1.00 item THEN get the last 1.00 item free. Sorry, but i believe this is how you would do that.

Reply

krisib June 18, 2012 at 2:25 pm

The manufacturer says that if the coupon doesn’t have any exclusions like for example “B2G1 free of equal or lesser value” then you can max out the free amount. Which my Q didn’t specify so I should have been able to max out the $3. I went to another wags and asked the manager and she said yes it will automatically take it off and it did….. The wags i first went to she didn’t let the checker scan it she just keyed it in as $1. I am going to talk to the actual manager today because she shouldn’t be able to do that. There have been other coupons from inserts that won’t scan and even when i bought the item on the coupon (only the assistant manager by the way has done this to me) she has refused my coupons……She just hates me

Reply

Karen A June 19, 2012 at 1:20 am

Actually according to the manufacturer, there is not a restriction on which one you get free unless it specifically says so on their coupon- and that one does NOT. If it says specifically that the lesser item is free then it is. If it does not specify, then you may do as Krisib requested. That is from Suave directly!

Reply

Christie June 17, 2012 at 2:56 pm

Please do two things – call Walgreens corporate and even more importantly call Unilever (who makes Suave) 1-800-298-5018 Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-6:00 PM Eastern Time.

I have heard of this happening to many people and it’s wrong! I don’t think manufacturers want people NOT buying their products because of some Walgreens computer glitch.

I had the same problem but my cashier checked the date and realized it wasn’t expired just yet and deducted the amount manually, now this is a very coupon friendly store but it won;t hurt to ask them to deduct it manually

Reply

Elle June 18, 2012 at 9:49 am

Agreed. That’s what happened with me as well.

Reply

Jenny June 18, 2012 at 3:22 am

It might not necessarily be a walgreens computer glitch. I work at a grocery store in the St Louis area, and our computer system can do this as well with some of the coupons with the newer coding. I’ve also seen coupons people clipped from the saturday editions of the sunday paper and use them on saturday and the coupon will give me error codes saying it’s not valid until the next day, even though that is stated no where on the coupon. I of course force it through, because of that.

Reply

Christie June 18, 2012 at 9:20 am

The issue is related to a software or programming issue with the new registers. This doesn’t happen on an old register at Walgreens. Maybe your grocery store uses the same software or a similar software as the new Walgreens registers that has some difficulty with the new bar codes.

same problem, manager had to do manually

Reply

Andrea June 18, 2012 at 12:10 am

I had that problem the cashier called over the manager who tells me it is expired. (While waiting for the masnager to come over Cashier even has the nerve to ask me where I got the q from was it in the paper today? I said no it was in RP 5/20 he was like huh and starts thumbing through the wags monthly q book.) She said it expires today and he can’t override it (liar). She says look lady I can give to you you want it or not. (Because of course you know she is doing me a favor by accepting a coupon that expires today) I said I want it. She tells the cashier to throw the q away and then take one of them off. So I would only have to pay for 1, but then of corse a RR would not print. I told her to give my q back. I went to another store same problem but they typed it in manually.

Reply

Chelsea June 18, 2012 at 3:47 am

Wow, that was ridiculous. I had a problem with that too a week or two ago–it was a razor coupon and it was expiring on that day and it kept beeping. Luckily, the people at my Wags know me pretty well and they just manually punched it in for me. They were even confused why it kept beeping and prompting an expiration date too. I really don’t like the new systems. I mean, there are perks to them, but I feel like there could be less glitches. Hopefully things get sorted out soon.

Only q for Suave shampoo I have is for the Suave Professionals, but there may be others out there from home mailers, etc.

Reply

That’s what I was thinking, Amber. None of my coupons are for the shampoo and conditioner that is $1.

Reply

krisib June 18, 2012 at 2:01 am

Mine didn’t have any exclusions… I’m in KS and I guess this was a regional coupon? Mine wasn’t for the Suave professionals I think it said “B2G1 FRee Any Suave naturals shampoo or conditioner (Max Value $3)” so it didn’t even require that the free one be the lesser value!! great Q!

Reply

saversue June 17, 2012 at 3:44 pm

The suave shampoo and conditioners for $1.00 are the 15 oz size that worked for me to get the $2 RR’s I purchased the lilac scents and the waterfall scents and they all went through with no problems. The cashier at our cosmetics counter is awesome she always rings me up and tells me about other great deals for the week!I’m in Southern Indiana(Evansville)

LIndsay Hi and welcome to Evansville!!I always go to the Walgreens at 2015 Colvert Ave. The cashiers at the cosmetics counter are the best,I’ve had no problems with doing seperate transactions at the registers either! Today I asked the cosmetics cashier if she had any Qpons for Suave lotion…well she pulled out a shoebox sized box full of Qpons that were for some new products and others and gave me any Qpon I asked her for …the only one she DID NOT have was the Suave lotion!LOL!

At my store in Virginia they had tags up on the Suave shampoos and conditioners that stated if you buy 2 you get $2 back in rewards. There were tags on all the Sauve hair products, even the $1.00 bottles. It said it will expire on June 30. So hopefully this is a deal we can do for a couple of weeks.

It worked for me. My cashier allow me to do 2 transactions so I brought refreshing waterfall mist, smoothing lavender lilac, and daily clarifying. I think it will work for all types of suave. The tags were not marked for the $1 shampoos and conditioners. I was going to do the B2G1, but realize the lotions are $3. If I buy 3 lotions and minus $3 coupon and $2 RR. That would be $4 for 3 lotion so I did not do that deal.

ann June 17, 2012 at 5:37 pm

Grrrr…. Why would one person need to buy all of the Suave Shampoo and conditioner? Does anyone NEED 26 bottles of shampoo/conditioner? Geez! Oh well, maybe they will see this post and limit themselves next time… I will continue to be a courteous couponer and hope everyone else will be as well. In a perfect world, right…?

I got what i could this is a great deal and i had a ton or RR to Roll and I Donate a lot of what i get to local food bank where i volunteer and i am always looking for deals like this where it is something that they could actually use. Our local food bank helps 50 or more families a day and help out with shampoo/ laundry soap/ deodorant and things like that toothpaste tooth bushes. It makes me so happy to be able to give when just a few months ago i was so happy to receive these items from the food bank when i had nothing not even shampoo… I don’t donate only Free items i also buy other items that are needed and a good deal with coupons. I learned that if i don’t make it Sunday morning i don’t get much of anything so i be sure to wake up early for these deals.

I know b/c I am friendly with the beauty advisor/cashier. She asked me if I had looked to see if there was any Suave on the shelf. I told her there was not. She volunteered the info that a woman came in and bought it all. They had 6 or 8 different types of shampoo/conditioner, and she took them all. I am all for donating, don’t get me wrong… It is up to the individual how much they buy if there is no limit. However, when there are deals like this, I feel it is nice to limit one’s self. Maybe 10 bottles? 20 bottles? To me, that is excessive. Just my little ole humble opinion.

Reply

jane June 17, 2012 at 8:07 pm

I agree! Donation is no excuse to clear shelves….there are many people who make too much money to get help from donation groups but don’t make enough to get buy except to use coupons. It’s great to donate (I do it all the time) but please think of those that can’t get help and leave some for others 🙂

Reply

Andrew June 18, 2012 at 12:11 am

My philosophy is if I’m going to buy more than four, I will special order. When the HELP medication was B1G1 free @ $3.99 each, there were $2/1 PDF MQ’s (making the medicines tax-only). I special ordered 140 of them so I didn’t have to clear the shelves and the backroom(s).

Plus, you feel like a BAUS when you step into the store, head straight to the cashier with your mountain of coupons, and the staff brings out cases of the special orders for you =)

Lately, I’ve been “special ordering” all my items anyways, so I head straight to the cashier. It’s nice to know you have the “set amount” you ordered and not have to worry if there’s still “any left on the shelves”. The only hard part is finding USEFUL filler items. I DO scan the aisles quickly to see if there’s any new orange tags 😉

Reply

rodney June 18, 2012 at 9:40 am

agree with you andrew ive been special ordering too so i dont have to clear the shelves makes the workers happy too becuz they dont have to explain why they are out when the sale just started

Reply

sharell June 19, 2012 at 1:26 am

the manager at my wags refuses to let me special order anything! if it has RR then you can forget it, also if it has a big coupon available. its rediculous.

Reply

Venessa June 18, 2012 at 1:53 pm

@Meekin – I agree with Jane. There are MANY of us who are trying to use couponing to get by with our families. Who is any one person to decide that people at food banks are more deserving than those of us who work diligently to use couponing to provide for our families? Again, donation = awesomeness, but ONLY when donations are acquired in moderation and over time, so that the donations you give and that make you feel so good don’t mean that my family (and those like me) goes without.

@Andrew – Just something to keep in mind: “special ordering” is still shelf clearing – you’re just clearing the warehouse instead of the store shelves. Often my store doesn’t get items because “the warehouse is out”. I sure hope you don’t live in my area. 140 bottles, yeesh!

Reply

Chelsea June 18, 2012 at 2:14 pm

I agree with you too! I coupon only for my family–I have a large family and we only have 2 computers so my stockpile literally only sustains my family. If we do have excess, I do give them away to friends or sometimes when I grab a great deal on a certain brand of shampoo or deodorant that we don’t use, I’ll give those away too. However, I NEVER buy a certain item to excess. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever bought more than 4 or 5 of any product. I just don’t have the coupon resources for it, nor does my family need more than a couple extra bottles in the stockpile. I’ve even gotten to the point where my stockpile is pretty steady now and I’ve been able to cut back on buying items that we’re already good on. I went to my local Wags yesterday and literally, we were out of Suave shampoo and that’s something that my store always has fully stocked because no one really purchases Suave shampoo there–it’s usually the other higher brand shampoos.

And yes–140 bottles is wayyyy too extreme for me. It’s great that you get it all for free and you donate, but that’s a little too much. Where exactly do you store all of that?!?

Reply

krisib June 18, 2012 at 5:05 pm

I agree about the shelf clearing for donation…..I’ve tried to special order items and there is always a problem with the truck not coming…. coupons expiring before the truck gets there, The RR deal being over by the time the truck gets in, etc. There fore with wags I will no longer special order. I did this one time and regretted it because the truck didn’t get there on the normal day and was actually 4 days late so the RR deal was over when my stuff arrived which was not my fault nor was it the fault of the store but then again the manager should’ve cancelled the order when they found out the truck wouldn’t be there on time. Then to top it off the truck brought the wrong kind anyway. I wasn’t happy nor was the store. To keep on good terms purchased the part of my order that was correct but told them sorry but it wasn’t my fault that the truck came late and with the wrong items…. They weren’t happy but that is why i will never again place an order with wags. If i clear a shelf it’s because they didn’t stock it in the first place but then again i’m really the only one around my town that does alot of RR deals. I don’t like when a shelf is cleared in the name of donations…..There are plenty of times i have found a good deal that could really help my family and flat out couldn’t get one transaction because someone wanted to “donate” Not cool guys!! If I’m going to be stocking up I go to my Wags and then my once a week trip to a neighboring town and go to their wags (usually they’re out) but hey can’t get them all! I do agree with the places that are for donations being kind of weird about helping only certain people though. My sister with 3 little kids had no food, no christmas, lost her job, utilities getting shut off and couldn’t get help from the food bank so i will not donate to a food bank!!!! I will only donate to people I know personally that are struggling that actually need these items. Food banks a lot of times are a crutch for people who don’t want to work to support their families or are just being mooches and i’m sorry but that is my honest to God experience with food banks in my town. When donating keep in mind that you might be taking away from a family that actually needs stuff but doesn’t qualify to get benefits

campanita June 19, 2012 at 1:12 pm

I agree, my store often don’t receive products that have RRs because the warehouse didn’t send them. The stores around here don’t do special orders either, I askedif I can order around 10 but didn’t have luck. If I want to get a few things, I have to be there when they open and many times they don’t have the items.

Reply

Karen A June 20, 2012 at 5:23 am

Oh for Gods sake, special ordering is NOT shelf clearing people! Warehouses allocate stock to certain areas. That means each area gets a certain amount HOWEVER if there is a large special order that does NOT go towards their “allocation.” That comes directly from my uncle who is a District Manager! It is unbelievable the conclusions that people jump to judging other couponers- the general public is not the problem- other couponers are! IRRITATING!!!!!

Bought the lavender shampoo and the green apple conditioner. My store was already low by the time I got there

2 stores today were fully stocked with everything I was seeking; Reach floss, Colgate t/p, Suave s/c, and popcorn as filler. I made all RR’s roll, so I did 6 transactions.

The last store had sales tags on the Suave products, but the 1st store had no tags. During last weeks (or the week prior?) Reach floss deal, there wasn’t anything in stock during the 2nd day of the sale (and, the MQ’s were still there– amazingly). But today, 1 store had the floss hidden behind other flosses (someones trying to be sneaky, lol).

Overall, great shopping! I love when planned shopping trips go smoothly.

The shampoo is listed and pictured in my ad so I doubt they would take it out of the rr deal.

I bought 2 of the Suave refreshing waterfall mist and received the $2RR.

Found a great deal on the Nice brand nuts today…some of the approx. 8 oz can varieties are on a monthly sale for 2/$7 or 2/$8, and that overlaps with the BOGO free sale this week. I picked up some cashews for $1.75 each as a filler…great price even without coupons! 🙂

ann June 17, 2012 at 9:20 pm

Did you happen to notice if that included peanuts? Thanks!

Reply

Susan M June 18, 2012 at 5:58 pm

I got a bunch of cashews, almonds and trail mix. Flyer says 9 oz or 12 oz peanuts are included too. Some items were $3 for 2 and others were $4 for 2. Great deal!

I stock piled on the Suave Shampoo/Conditioner and Colgate Toothpaste. I have 4 Walgreens near mean so I never clear the shelves out at any one store. An idea that might help others, is my local Publix accepts the RR MQ. Make sure you point out its a MQ and not a store coupon. This is great and helps out with the two biggest issues I have with the RRs. The short expiration date and the need to sometimes have to buy fillers that I do not really want.

Reply

Pam June 17, 2012 at 11:34 pm

Robert, they may be accepting them now, but be forewarned that may soon come to an end. Here in the Chicagoland area, Jewel stores were absolutely awesome about taking the Wags RR. Even after Wags started including the statement “redeemable ONLY at Walgreens, ” they still took them. However, Jewel found out from the coupon clearinghouse that they would NOT be reimbursed for any RRs that have that statement on them. Therefore, effective July 1st they are not able to accept them anymore. I believe this is because Wags wants to keep the money in their stores, and complained to the coupon clearinghouses.

Thought I’d take advantage of this deal, and get 4 sets of shampoo and conditioner and toothepaste. My walgreens put a limit of 3 register rewards in one trip. Still scored some majorly good deals for next to nothing.

my coupons would not go through on the new registers but they knew they were good till midnight and the manager pushed them through. Awesome deal.

midge June 18, 2012 at 9:36 am

My suave b2g1 free lotion coupon didn’t work yesterday bc it expired same day. I said shouldn’t it be good thru midnight and the mgr says well you would think so but there’s noway for me to override it (which I don’t believe) so I just told them nevermind you can put them back. Too bad. I have had better luck with overrides and customer service at different Wags on the other side of town, but didn’t feel like driving allover just for lotion. I will have to make the phone calls as advised in previous posts.

I had that happen the other day with a makeup q I was using it on the day it expired and she had to override it and yes it could have been done.

Am I the only one who didn’t buy any Suave?!?! I purchased the smore’s items. I used the coupon for the free Hershey’s candy bar when you buy a Hershey chocolate bar. So when I bought the 6-pk, I was able to get the free Hershey bar also!! had a $4 RR from before, so I only had to pay out $1.

Not a huge savings this week, but it worked for me!

off topic: been going to Walgreen’s for years and today I heard “code red”, what is this?

Reply

krisib June 18, 2012 at 2:29 pm

I dunno They do that every time i go there too…..must mean “crazy couponer coming your way!” HAHA I was asking my husband and sister this…. I figured i must have my own code now which i’ll take as a compliment

Reply

ann June 19, 2012 at 9:57 am

haha, I like that one, it probably means just that.

Codes have to do with refund, exchange, change a bill please, or other “manager get your butt over here” type requests. They are not for couponers 🙂

My wags didn’t stock very well so it’s already gone here….If there’s any in the neighboring towns wags tomorrow i’ll try it and repost if it’s still rolling. Does anyone know how long this deal is for? Some tags say it’s good through next week also. If so I hope our wags gets more in before the RR is over. I’d like to get some for my sister’s family before it’s over (she doesn’t have a wags in her town) All they have is a gas station unless they drive 40 minutes away.

Caroline June 18, 2012 at 5:44 pm

COLGATE RR IS NOT ROLLING TODAY!!!

Reply

HIlary June 18, 2012 at 5:55 pm

Was this supposed to happen this way? I had a RR and a coupon for $3 off 2 coppertone and the register wouldn’t take both in one transaction because the coupon was for TWO so I had to get a filler. Was that correct?

Reply

Christie June 18, 2012 at 8:52 pm

Very often coupons that are $ off (2) will attach to (2) items. Or $ of (3) will attach to (3). So yes, it’s very common.

I may catch flack for saying this, but I feel that 50% of the people who say they are “donating” are LYING!! Come on? Who hasn’t felt that some of these people are lying through their teeth?!?! It’s a way to justify shelf clearing. Ridiculous! And yes, before you get all nuts, I do realize their are genuine people out there who are being sincere but lets face it…some people just get a high off of how many they can get!

Reply

Karen A June 20, 2012 at 5:40 am

Why would you say something like that Laura? You don’t live with these people, and you have no idea what they do- how about being less judgmental. I can’t get over how negative some couponers are to others. It’s disheartening to see that kind of back biting. I just donated 125 boxes of cat food to an animal clinic- I don’t even have a cat! I have been accused of not donating, and I am an extreme couponer. Maybe if people looked at my Fb coupon page and saw the pictures they would feel better about themselves and not get that euphoric uplifting feeling of putting others down! “Those that live in glass houses….”

Reply

ann June 23, 2012 at 12:05 pm

Thank you for thinking of the animal shelter! I think that it is awesome that you go to the trouble of couponing, going to the store, purchasing and transporting all that food. Pat yourself on the back!
