well i tried to and they said that i couldnt because i wasnt actually paying for the item so therefore it didnt count towards the rr? hmmm….
they even tried ringing the items up and the rr diidnt print…said it was the new registers and using a free product coupon would not let the rr print.
ok… so whats goin on w q’s? just went to wags bought 6 suave body wash used 2 buy2getone and no rr…mangager said total has to be 12 (after) q’s? showed them their own policy and they said it is changing due to new registers! so in order for this senerio to give rr using coupons will become useless!
No worries – your manager is just seriously confused. The Suave RR has nothing to do with $$ amount spent. It’s just buy (3) get $2 RR. Doesn’t matter if you pay .01 or $100 for them.
What’s more likely is either a problem with the Catalina machine or your cashier used the quantity key. Each item needs to be scanned individually. If they hit the quantity key and then hit 6, it won’t print.

Yes – if they haven’t had the new registers long they may not have figured that out. I can’t say for sure that that is what happened but it’s one reason the RR aren’t printing. If she doesn’t scan one at a time, I would just politely say that your friend shops at another store and was told each one had to be scanned individually. Certainly if she won’t scan them individually, and your RR doesn’t print you can request they do it again “your way”. 😉
