Couldn’t you also use the $2.00 off coupon in the January Booklet and it would be adjusted down to make it FREE.

Jeni January 2, 2012 at 10:22 am

There is a 2/1 L’Oreal coupon in the Jan wags book. I got a few for free yesterday using that coupon:)

Christie January 2, 2012 at 10:30 am

Oh yay! That’s FREE! I saw Shampoo and my eye kept going! I reworked the scenario so you can get (3) products FREE! 😉

Elizabeth January 2, 2012 at 10:52 am

Thank you. Hope they are clearance and some still left!

Vane January 2, 2012 at 11:12 am

so the $2/1 L’Oreal vive pro Shampoo or Cond coupon from the booklet takes off $2 of each product or its just one time no matter how many products u buy? :/ confused here

Christie January 2, 2012 at 11:28 am

Takes off $2 per product – $7.57 – $2 = $5.57 – $2 coupon x 3 items = $0.00

Otherwise it would be $3.57, which would still be ok but not free. :-)

Its been quite some time since I printed from redplum. I just printed 2 coupons and it asked me to install Java suported by Oracle (not by Sun) and the coupons look a little bit odd, they do not have the tiny print all around and they do not have the 16 digit code below the expiration date, instead it shows a 15-digit code to the right of the expiration date.

Has it happened to anyone?? or is it just me being behind on the latest changes for redplum?

Christie January 2, 2012 at 12:06 pm

they do look different – changed like a month ago so not just you! :-)

I did this deal at my local walgreens yesterday. The machine only took off the amount of the product only not full $2.00 amount.

jiji January 2, 2012 at 1:11 pm

Also, you can watch out for L’oreal hair color excellence to-go clearance for $2.49 each. You can use the coupon $5 off 2 L’oreal hair color products to make it free when you buy 2.

Do I need something else in my order to absorb the overage or will it adjust down automatically? Thanks for the great deal!

Justineeee January 2, 2012 at 2:00 pm

My wallgreens told me you can’t you coupons from the January booklet on clearance items.

gia January 2, 2012 at 2:29 pm

Or if it’s raining on a Thursday, or if it’s a full moon, or if you are standing on one leg.

They are just making up their own rules. Shop at a different Walgreens.

it adgused the coupon down the $1.28 when i went over lunch so I dont think it would take the $2.00 off other then the one shampoo. 2 for free was a good deal….

Christie January 2, 2012 at 2:35 pm

Absolutely! FREE and it’s something I’ll always need. :-)

samantha d January 2, 2012 at 3:07 pm

I went and did this deal and the coupon adjusted itself. also i found clearance pantene shampoo and conditioner for 1.29 ringing up buy 1 get 1 half off like the rest of the pantene deal this week, and if you pair it with coupon from sunday paper you can get the overage for something else. I saw this at on wags and not the other. so i hope some of you get luck and score some too!! I don’t know if you posted this deal or heard about it from someone else yet.

Crystal January 2, 2012 at 4:06 pm

My store did not have these, but did have some Garnier Fructis products marked down to $1.29. There is a $1/1 Q from 10/30.

Melissa January 2, 2012 at 5:15 pm

The January book coupon only took off $4.58 for me. I have no idea why and I didn’t notice till I got home. So I paid 99 cents for all 3. Still good but not free.

melina January 2, 2012 at 5:58 pm

Thanks for this post. I went during my lunch time and only found the Loreal gel on clearance with a price tag of $2.59. I grabbed three and my plan was to use 1 $1 off coupon and the Walgreens Jan Book coupon and pay .77 plus tax but when I checked out they scanned at $1.29 so just used the Walgreens Jan Book and paid .36cents of tax.

Nora Chambers January 2, 2012 at 8:33 pm

My walgreens had 3 of the silky curls on clearance for $2.59…I figured $.59 each wasn’t a bad deal, so I grabbed them. They rang up at $1.29 each, so all 3 were free. I did have to pay tax tho (I live in CA) so my oop was $.30. Thank you! This will be great on my daughter’s curly hair.

Tina January 2, 2012 at 10:37 pm

I got this deal for free :) This website helps me save tons of money. Thank you do much .

Ashleigh January 3, 2012 at 3:12 am

I found where it *should* be…on the clearasil website. It said “Sorry, this coupon program is no longer available.” :(

Ashleigh January 3, 2012 at 3:13 am

OOPS!! So sorry! Wrong post **blushes**

Amanda January 3, 2012 at 5:52 pm

I’ve gone 3 times to my walgreens in SoCal to do the tylenol cough deal and pass by the shampoo aisle and I’m surprised its fully stock with L’oreal clearance product. You would think because there free they be flying of the shelfs

Heather January 6, 2012 at 12:26 am
